Hi all
Called in for a hot chocolate & to see if anyone else having trouble sleeping because of the damn wind
This weather really freaks my daughter out so have spent a couple of hours calming her down & now I cant sleep!
Hope everyones ok & arthers not playing up I feel im a permanent flare up at min any one else the same?
Hot chocolate was just what the doctor ordered

Morning,Its been a rough night here but ive just been out in me pjs to inspect fencing etc & everything has held out during the night (Phew as i wipe my brow)
Im not sure if i can stay up long but in the mean time i must have a large tea & one of your muffins Berty, thanks.
Oh the fire looks nice but we must not disturb cris.So if you put a log on please be gentle & rememeber she's in the embers sleeping.

Morning jan,I hope the panel isnt to badly damaged.
we had all the fencing come down about 3yrs back & it was a nightmare. We couldnt let the dog out there as he runs off & housing **** took weeks to come put it back up. thats what i was worried about.it was the fencing all round the park & had nails all facing up, anyone could have trod on them.
The shed roof came off too & me & OH had to pull it back on & drive 6 inch nails into it. Would have distroyed our 2 cars plus 2 company cars if it had blown off completely.That was hell of a job battling against the wind.
Weve been luck so far this year & the garden room is still standing too was worried the panels would blow out but we must have sealed that well
You get a good sleep today jan & hope the winds died down a bit there for you.

A real quick hello from Keilder Forest just to let you know that we are still alive and safe and sound.. Found the mother in law at seven oclock clinging to a pine tree, she had slept soundly apparently... Lol
We're having a bit of breakfast, packing up and cleaning the lodge then we're setting off to Rothbury..
It's still quite wild out here so I will be taking it very steady on the roads.. I'm sure there must be at least a few trees down up here, there are around 10 million or something..

Toni, its done well Me sealing up of the windows must have been a good job. It was bowing like mad & the blumming dog kept opening the doors with his nose :shock:
just had a knock at the door,the guy had a corner strip for me bathroom so need to paint that now. Lucky i was up for a change :shock:

Sorry only read this page cus the glare it getting to me just now.

Hope everyone is ok and Debs glad the room too it... I have yet to walk down to see whats happened to the bottom shed..... Its not up here though... I do have a missing horse to go find and the trees haven't gone into the road .... The horse obviously has :roll:

Builders all round? Going to find a draft of anti-glare and chuck it at the site and will see if the eyes are up to coming back later.... Good bit of embers there so will hit them even if I don't say

See if you can get some trigger point steroid jabs... they do help a bit. Botox actually has really knocked mine back quite a bit.... Are you under a pain clinic, though knowing you I have to say not literally

it's supposed to be Rt as you look out from the house into the backgarden, but the deeds are what you reaklly must check

We are v unlucky as we have the rt and the left being at the end and being the last house built the bottom too! and it runs across3 and a half gardens :shock:

Luckily every one of them is still UP

The steroid jabs work on the muscles on me reasonably well but the botox is better..... just a shame it couldn't be a muscle in my face

I also got years of NSAIDs related or crohn's related ulcers and stuff so sympathize for you there as well. You want a manky egg and chis or a cuppa? xx

As ever Owns went walk about.... she is a heller! I went the wrong way trogged miles and she was 3 fields down the opposite way... she did have the decency to neigh at me and be waiting by the gate so it saved her an ear bashing but I's doing an impersonation of a drowned rat so actually going to hit the embers to get dry!

Hope you can get a bit more rest and primmy aid she is not leaving here..... but soon they must and in Owns case tomorrow will do ((( ))) and get some more rest! xx

Well we have 3 fence panels in next doors border...very fetching...and not sure how many roof tiles...my OH wont go up the ladder yet..dont know why not
Could I have a steaming hot builders and a slice of whatever is going.

Hi Barbara,

Its turned better colours again.... mine didn't but did when I refreshed it.

Hope you haven't got too much damage there? Fences I think it used to be marked on the deeds as to who owns what... Its one mine but its kinda different here...... The adjoining fields we take responsibility for the side we have as a border but again the hedges are special and really drystone walls covered in earth and trees... I wonder why we do that?!

Was silly and went the wrong way and even sillier sat her soaked and not getting dry and warm so I had better go do so....

I ant so good flower and cheesed at life the universe and everything just now but I is made of rubber so will bonce back I guess....
