    Evening all.. Hope we're all ok tonight, not too hot, not too cold..?

    I have brought my spray-paints with me to do the mural in the tunnel, gotta admit, I'm plumping for Del's idea, Santa splattered on the front of a jumbo jet, that should brighten the tunnel up a tad!!!!!!!!

    U doing a 'muriel' as mrs Ogden would call it !

    That will look lovely but what about when xmas is over you going to paint over it? We will get sick of santa. splattered or not :lol:

    Yep, I will paint over it once santa has headed back to the north pole.. We'll all have to put our heads together and think of a good one I can paint down the whole length of the tunnel..

    Will have to think about that, what about one of the river bridges? (and some water, that'll make them think).

    Calling in for my bedtime cuppa, will have some of my homemade crumble to go with it.

    I was thinking about painting it so it looks like one of those tunnels in the large aquariums, the ones that have sharks in..?

    We can have a vote after Crimbo eh?

    Now, crumble you say???????? Apple per chance?????

    Yes, it's apple crumble but it has raisins and cinnamon added.

    Lovely and warming.

    Will have a refill in my mug as I seem to be rather busy atm, bedtime will have to wait a little.

    Hi Debs, I think there are two in there for you tonight. There some buns for Trish in the tin.

    I will be wending my way to bed shortly, was hoping to find Trish here, thought mentioning her buns might get her in.

    Will have a refill and hang about for a few more minutes.

    Things going on in the tunnel? Painting? Apple crumble, eclairs? Hi everyone, hope you are all keeping as warm as can be, it is damned cold out. Will be cancelling blood clinic and Drs appointment, no way will OH let me out in this, it is sheet ice round here, not safe to drive, let alone me wobbling along on my crutches, I don't THINK so.
    Anyway, give us a bit of your eclair debs, go on, just a wee bit.

    weve got a fair bit of snow here, OH managed to get stepson to college but one of the main roads was closed off by police so he had to go down lanes that hadnt been gritted. Not a good idea. Think he might have to walk to main road & ntry for a bus tomorrow cause i cant see OH getting the car out.
    We had that bad bang in feb just down the road & its made us so weary of using car in the snow.
    Dont blame you for cancelling as i havent been out since last wednesday & not going to til this disappears.

    Thanks hun, I know you are. Stay put, that's the right idea, until we get low on supplies. Can last out another two days, before I start to panic.

    I am partial to the topping on the crumble, but the fruit, no thanks, way too healthy. If you are in the tunnel, then I am not going to pinch any.

    would rather have me flapjacks.
    OH got us some more milk today to see us through & have enough of everything else to last til next Tuesday.
    Got some partridges for a casserole tomorrow, dad gave them to us last friday so i skinned them & gutted them then popped them in freezer. will be so nice done in the slow cooker.

    Winter food, yes, I am pastry dependent from now until Easter, that and my maltesers of course, if I run out of them I am calling the air rescue services. Bubbles must have maltesers.

    Bubbles if you call out air sea rescue can you get them to drop me some flapjacks please, i got withdrawal symptoms & have no oats to make any? :lol:
    Might bake a fruit cake tomorrow, got an old recipe for boiled fruit cake that im dieing to try. will pop some in of course.
