Hi Everyone, I hope your all ok & had a wonderful xmas.
we had a lovely time.
OH took dog out after dinner & he collapsed :shock: we had to drag him back from park on a rug OH had spoilt him by over feeding him & he just collapsed & we couldnt get him to his feet. His back leg is giving way but he's not in pain. Ruined yesterday for us but he's ok.
He is now on a serious diet aswell as OH.
A dog his size should be able to pull a sledge not us pull him on a carpet :shock: Took us half n hr to get him home.
If it wasnt dark the neighbours would have called the men with the white coats Its funny now but really wasnt.
It can only happen to us :roll:

Making a huge pot of Tetleys if anyone wants.. Also a small pot of PG for Del, will leave it in the fireplace to keep warm for him..

How is everyone's evening... Mine has been ok, just hope its better than last night .

Trying to think on what to do as my Sky TV is cut off (and currently owe them monies ). As I think I have watched all my dvd's around a gazillion times, and could probably tell you all the plots of them lol.

Aberdeen FC won against Hibernian FC today so I am pretty chuffed, we're now off the bottom of the SPL . Craig Brown better do a good job.... I have the football next Saturday, going to watch them play Dundee United at Pittodrie, can't wait for it .

Ohhhhh what to doooooooooooooo hehe.

I don't mind watching catch up, we've got the big tv in the room but I am laid up a lot as i have Osteo A in my spine and knees, also have Rheumatoid in mi hands and wrists now too.. So I have got used to watchin stuff on the pc as it's next to the bed, so when I am laid up I can at least get online..

How are you finding the forum?

I have a little Dj type spot on here in the 'what have you been listening to' thread... I do requests sometimes, lol

I'm glad I have Sky and that in my room as well, my bedrooms upstairs and so is our bathroom its easier for my knees lol.

It's great so far, I have recommended it to my friend who also suffers from arthritis and pains.

If you look back through my thread you will see I like quite a lot of different stuff, punk, soul, funk, blues, allsorts.. DO not like country though.. Not my cuppa tea.

We ended up moving from our old house two yrs ago, was having probs with the stairs myself then my missus got heart failure, so she was quite badly and we got a ground floor flat, so much easier to cope with... x

Belated Christmas Greetings to one and to all, bubbling hugs all round and I hope you and yours had the best time possible, that arthur is not biting too much and that everyone is keeping safe and warm.
Been busy with folks, then in laws, then sis in law, visiting here and there, so hardly had a moment to ourselves the past three days. A wee bit pooped now and I am paying the price of sitting, standing, more sitting, but never mind, we have had a good time.

Those logs on the fire are very welcome Tony, thanks hun, for keeping the cafe nice and warm.

I see more snow is on the way - I was not made to live like an eskimo and will be glad to see a thaw, or even some grass.

i have left a huge box of Thornton's continental on the counter top, so help yourselves. I have enough maltesers to last me at least a fortnight.

Time for pills, the trolley is clean and well stocked, with luxury brandy mince pies on top, just in case anyone needs a snack.

Its nice and warm in here this morning but been on my jackl jones for a while. I think ill back the fire up for you guys and make some toast for you guys. I left the toast under the grill to keep warm catch all later.
