    Hi Cris

Still trying to find my way round here and have lost all the threads I was trying to keep up with, you included. :?

Yes I seem to be forever typing in purple on a purple background which is weird but hope this does come out in bog standard black for you. I'm guessing that is the best for you?

Sorry things still so tough for you there love. I will try and find your earlier thread if I can to catch up but I know you were so desperately needing a few days break from all the chores but were unlikely to get them.

Just topping up the buckets of hugs for you (((((( )))))) I haven't forgotten you.
    love

    Hi Chris,

The paler ones I have trouble reading but the rest is ok..... I saw a post in pale turquoise and I can't see it so good and the pink well its good people can express them selves, just I can't read some of these colours at all.......

Hey your never forgotten either Chrissy! I just rock bottom just now....

I have chronic fatigue and duff eyes and for added extra a very big suspected ulcer so off the anti inflammatories again and this tie probably for good..... Chris all my joints have taken great pleasure in swelling up......

The forms nearly ready..... I hope yours is as well......

Will get easier to use this thing I expect but the colour thing for me may well be permanent so I just wanted to let people know......I would hate to have anyone think I was ignoring them.

Hope you have had a decentish rest up? I could sleep for a week if I was allowed, side glance at all the things pulling my strings :lol: Now where did I put the scissors

Leaving you a ((((( ))))) and a hope with a side dish of saffron and cream... best stuff ever for bad days.... and I have had one big time today :lol: Love Cris xxx

    Oh Cris

An ulcer and all the bones misbehaving!! I am so sorry things have really hit rock bottom for you there. Do hope you have some help with the necessary chores at the moment and can get some serious R and R. I know it is a pipe dream but I can hope.

Been an okish week here, the new people at work are lovely but has been a bit fraught trying to keep up with orders from both companies as it were!

Hope your GP being supportive Cris? Still got the forms here but we have a deal ok

love and soothing hugs. (((( ))))

I missed the ulcer Cris. That's a bit of a blow. I know what you mean about anti-inflammatories being stopped. I had to stop them last year when I got a blood clot in my throat  My joints seized up over night. It was excruciatingly painful and I couldn't move. I do hope things aren't that bad for you. Have you got any alternatives?
Wish I could give you a very big hug but this will have to do (((((())))))

    Hi Sal,

Your pm might well help though flower so thank you. ((( ))) xx

    Hi jean,

If you see this those of us with duff eyes are not finding this remotely user friendly I am afraid..... I don't have colour blindness but all this pink and red isn't good and the old blue and grey was much kinda....

Hope you enjoyed your hols and welcome back. Cris x

Oh and where does my dog keep disappearing too and is he looked after while he is there  ( that's the aviator by the way)

    Hi Chris,

If it is an ulcer its a very big one  I still think its a hernia though its responding well to the gp's treatment so would a hernia do that :lol:

Yep we got a deal and will try and negotiate the pm thing in a min though who knows if I can

Maybe be I am just finding everything hard just now and well it has been a bad day for reason best pm'd :lol:

leaving all of you 3 some saffron and cream and a cuppa and some (((( )))) Cris xxx

    Hi Sal,

    Just read yours properly......

I got nothing as alternative till they have put the camera down. She has asked for that urgently but that will be months I suspect.... though I might be able to get it done sooner as I don't care what hospital its done at

I have got to get back to the 600 p pregabs.... I took 300 this morning and was okish but took 100 an hour ago and another 100 now and have started to rally wake up and become wired..... Hey good they got you sorted :D

One thing... I spend so much time tripping I don't care anymore :lol::lol: ((( ))) xx

    Hi Lynn,

Its not what I do that's a problem if you see what I mean? Sal has told me how to turn it all black and white, Toni gave me something that will reduce the glare from black and white so that might help for the colours that I find hard.

The whole forum layout isn't eye friendly compare to the old one but maybe I can train the eyes.... been trying to for years but this might just be with in their scope eh?!

Hope your ok in your self? (((( )))) and have some saffron and cream xxx

When posting a reply move your mouse off the bit where you are typing - the print goes back to black on grey then, rather than pink on mauve. I can't see some of the colours either, but when the novelty wears off I am sure most will revert to either black or blue. I clicked on the font size button for this reply, hopefully it will come out larger than normal. The new design is not easy to navigate, but we will get used to it. I am currently ignoring the things I don't understand, that usually works!

I am sorry you are in such a low place skezier - this has been dragging on for weeks now, hasn't it? I am not going to make a fuss but I am thinking of you, I send you my love, I value your friendship and support - knowing you has enriched my life. We will get you thro this girl, somehow. DD

    Hi Cris
Sorry to hear that things are rough again for you at the moment. ((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
I know what you mean about getting used to the fonts/colours etc.. I am finding typing and spelling hard enough without changing colours etc.!!!!
I hope your ulcer/hernia (??) improve soon so you can have some help for your poor joints. As someone else has said, I would say try to rest lots, but....I think I know you will be busy!! Wish I could nip down to help xx Who made Lancs and Cornwall so far apart!!??

    HI everyone

just to add my bit into the mix - I use Firefox browser, and it has a facility to increase the font size of pages which are hard to read, so I've resorted to doing that for the new forum.

I have to agree that the 'normal' font is not as great a contrast as we have been used to, but hopefully the web team will alter what they are able to, and the rest we will learn to live with and get by.

    If it helps anyone:
In firefox - click on 'Help' at the top of the browser window.
    Select 'firefox help'.
Where it says 'what do you need help with?' type 'text zoom' & follow the link for the instructions on what to do.

There is also a 'page zoom' facility but I haven't tried that yet!

Hi DD, Nearly, Louise, Rose and Wonky,

Well that was the first storm of winter...... Power cuts and all..... :? That's never good when your not so good with the dark but I juts sit and talk to my self at that point.......

All fixed now though think we might have been lucky there and am remembering to charge up all the torches now!

Too swollen and am going to take the diclo's cus she did only say stay off them as long as you can...... Doing a dummy spit over information for a good 24 hours anyway!

    Hey DD and Wonky,

For me its the colour thing not the font size. I sussed that one out a while back but the pale colours, the glare an the all the red remains an issue but thanks for trying to help.

Hope your both doing ok? Slurps to you Wonky from he who really is muddy and best kept at arms length and ((( )))'s to you both. xx

    Hi Nearly,

A ton of hugs coming back to you and be glad its a long way else you would loo like I do :lol: Its really wet and muddy and the lodgers ran past, well squelched past is nearer and covered me just now.

Hope the work thing is going okish now? xx

    Hi Louise,

That was a dark and stormy night eh?! Sun now though...... Been out on the bellows as the water and mud extractor ran off electric :lol: Did you lose that over your side as well? Left the sheep in the last 2 nights so at least they are warm and dry. See priorities are good at least

Hope your doing ok flower? (((( )))) xx

    Hi Rose,

Might be able to send you up a sun set tonight cus its kinda cloud free or a bit...... Watching the ducks who love the newly formed lake.

Hope your doing ok and will see what I can send at dusk. ((( ))) xx

I hope they can help with the contrast as i am too much of a tecnophobe to do much else.

It's all very well if we do this to this thread, but we need to do it to all of them if you are to be NOt excluded eh?

    Hi Julie,

Oh flower the weather isn't so good eh? Fortunately as indigenous Cornish I got webbed feet :lol: Its storm month as well.....

Got bit of sun this morning but rain again just now so getting the car out might be fun.... it parked in a lake but wasn' when it was put there

I nearly done out side... except for evening fees but the chicken will be in early cus its almost dark with all this cloud out there.

Hope you flamingo's are ok in it? (((( )))) and a log on the fire. Cris xx

    Hi Toni,

They have played with the colour and for me its better.

I wasn't feeling excluded flower, I got stupid eyes and well no body can cater for that. Ones gone off on its flare today so it always makes it harder.

Going to follow your advice and get done early. ((((( ))))) and a cuppa Cris xxx

It isn't easy is it? To stop the pink on mauve thing when posting or PMing move your mouse pointer doo-dah to the white side of the screen et voila! Blue on grey, which is slightly better, I suppose! The weather here is foul, dark and dank, windy and drippy, totally horrid. I am sorry about your eye, I hope the preg is sorted and you can now take a dose to help - or are at least working towards that! Thinkikng of you. DD

    Hi DD,

Sussed that bit the first night flower. Its far more complexest with the shift eyes I have I am afraid. Ones gone into fare just now and that's never going to make life easy at best but the mtx might bring it down quicker.... first its been tested for the eye flare

Tis dark flower and horrible but its winter I guess and in 2 months it will be light till 6pm again...... Biggest thing about winter is I actually have to buy eggs! I have mentioned it to the chicken in passing but they said they were busy in moult and could I call back in a month

Bones shift, circulation shift, eyes are shift wont be avoiding the drip for sure but cel la vee..... or how ever its spelt :lol: Hope your not too bad and starting to feel better? ((( ))) xx

Ah, sorry - didn't mean to be teaching you how to suck eggs! I am so sorry that it is ALL shift at the moment - there is no end to it, or so it seems. The unfairness is awful, mind you the concept of 'fair' is a waste of time anyway. Life never is, never has been and never will be, fair. I hope something improves soon tho - surely it has to? Leaving you some of these - ((())) and a cyber CDM of your favourite variety. DD

    Hi DD,

Flower tis the cold season eh?! I got some real CDM if you want a couple of squares (don't tell the others though  )

You was trying to help flower its just my eyes are full of blur in close vision, after a few feet I see round it.... except the right ones total blurred just now but its not happy us spent too long outside last night in the driving rain trying to get the electric to work.. then I realised it was an actual power cut  Driving rain and big drops as well mostly on the right side and its as silly eh?! I would have made a useless scarecrow

Not that they have to see I guess?!......

I dresses like one and got cat hair as well.......

Off to get sheep jeans now and fight the calves on route.... Hey slight improvement the fatigue has eased off slightly... kept falling asleep the last few days  Another ((((( ))))) more bit of CDM and a cuppa. Love Cris xx

Another dark and stormy night but not as bad... partly cus I was so tied I slept through most of it  See some advantage to fatigue./..... say it quick and its ok :lol:

Right eye has a bit of shape in it today I kinda did stick my head on a hottle most of the night... that was fun cus the head sleepers liked the extra warmth

Bit less swollen today.... see the diclo's work no matter what else they might be doing.......I still say might..... love the optimism.....

Julie the lake is half the size but your flamingo's wouldn't like it, its far too open here and high. Keep growing the feathers girl  Think they might be needed eh?

You both have a good day. ((( ))) o u both and a small bit of cdm (well least its something even if is small  ) Cris xx

    Hi there Cris

I've not been on the forum this week (laptop trouble) so only just catching up and also struggling a bit with the new-look forum .. and I don't know if you will be able to read this either, but I can't seem to get it to write in black!!

Anyway Cris, I see that you've had more problems in the last week, yet you still manage to think about everyone else and to keep us going ...

I will sign off now Cris, so just to say I'm thinking about you and will try and sort this colour out for tomorrow. It's blooming windy here in Manchester and the dogs are constantly barking as all kinds of debris is falling on the roof of my 'sun lounge' (joke) so think I'm in for a disturbed night.

    Love from Marion xx
