Though I don't use the café it just has to be Val's Café as it was Val's concept and is popular with everyone ...even if it's just to read whilst having a real cuppa as opposed to a cyber one.

I promised Val's hubby I would have her home before The Dancing on the telly.

Poor jean is hungry she has had no tray of snacks today either.

We keep going in and coming out cos we are not sure where we should be to get a cuppa, some fortitiude also energy and our cow pats for pain.

Val's cafe It Val's idea and is a lovely place to go and chat and be able to eat what ever you want and not put any weight on.

If the poll function is used without thought the web Manager may remove this function and as the cafe name has already been decided asking for a poll will likely cause this facility to be removed by the admin. Therefore, can we please keep polls to a minimum.

The poll was Val's way of seeking ressurance for herself that this is what we members wish and not just a few members.

Oh dear, Moderator. A poorly constructed, poorly written and utterly pointless post by your good self. I thought valval set up the poll to check that people were happy with the name, ie that there was no hubris involved. Even tho I don't use the café that often there is no other name for it and valval gave us all a chance to vote to prove that point. DD

It is a fair way of obtaining opinion and I may be wrong but wasn't a poll asked for by web manager?

Looks like this forum is not only cold, colour wise (blue) but has lost its heart and warmth, were they thrown out with the trash when we moved ? or are they still in the boxes awaiting unpacking.

will be concidering taking some time away also. looks like many others have already.
