Well that was not nice at all. Mr Mod Val has hardly been on here due to her computer dying. She has had to borrow one here and there.

She is just finding her way around on here like we all are. Val has never ever spoken like that before you must know that.

She is now very upset I'm not joking about she is upset she did not do anything to be spoken like that,

whatever they call it, if it continues on it will always be vals cafe to most peeps.

i have to say i dont recognise this place (and i dont mean the forum change) from when i first joined i for one would like the warm friendly place back. im hoping its not all been lost but time will tell i supose.

no doubt i will get my head ripped off for opening me gob but hey ho. val didnt deserve to be upset in this way.

Coco I totally agree, something somewhere has changed, and not for the better, I do hope we can get back on track

I I thought I was doing my friend a nice turn when I asked If the new cafe could be called Val's cafe. She never missed a morning going in Val's cafe to get ready for all of us. I feel very bad that I asked now.

I thought she deserved to be recognised what was a great idea in opening a cafe. What was it over 23,000 posts on there.

We have all gone in there night or day time we natterd in there we have laughed in we have talked about arthur in. The Poll shows 100% to Call it Val's Cafe

I think she has left here now all because she wrote something and the disgusting way she has been spoken too.

She did not deserve to be spoken to like that at all.

If Val has gone then I am leaving too.

I have had 3 PM's from peeps leaving over this as well and they said they would be leaving and left me their emails addresses to keep in touch.

I now have an update from the webmanager. The polls facility is something that should only have been available to him...there are so many gremlins in the system at the moment....but he was perfectly happy for the two polls already started to run. Looks like wires got crossed, but it was nothing at all to do with the content of either poll, so please come back guys. I can see why people are not happy, so please pm me if there is anything at all you want to talk over re this. Both polls were really great IMO.

It is good to know that you are there for anyone who has a problem.

I think it's taking us all a while to get used to the new look but I am sure that when we have all worked out which buttons are the ones we need, where they are, and when the bugs are sorted ( :idea: have you thought to set arthur on them :?: ) then we'll be able to get on as if nothing has changed.

come on peeps ....... the forum is what we make it ..... and ROb is so right ...... I certainly can't say I've never made a mistake.

We do need her back but she has got pc trouble so might be a bit of time before she can get in.
