Still thinking of you rainbow, from time to time. Be kind to yourself. These things take time, often longer than we realise. DD

    Hi

Thanks for extra messages of support. I really appreciate them. Yeah, just taking one day at a time. Been sorting out paperwork for will, getting all the family to sign and also chasing the funeral directors for copies of all the bills to be paid. It has taken 3 visits, but hopefully won't have to go there again. Thank goodness.

Have cried a lot, but did sleep through last night for 10 hours so I am really glad of that. Still feel shattered though and have a headache that I can't shift, but know it will go.

I am working tomorrow, teaching a festive food planning lesson with tips. I have found it really hard to even contemplate christmas so just got all that sorted out. I just could not face mince pies so not making them!!

Thanks for being there for me, I really appreciate it. It is great to be able to get help here where it has not been available elsewhere.

Right, could sleep again right now. Trying to finish all tasks for today before I give in!!

    Hugs for you all (((((((((((((((((())))))))))))))))))))

    Hi Fayanne

Repeating what everyone has said really but i am sorry for your loss.I lost my precious Dad 3 1/2 years ago now and i still greive for him now and i think i always will in a quiet way. This is normal what you feel right now as your main focus, the funeral has happened and now you have to deal with the future and what that brings. It certainly doesnt help that you also have an illness to deal with.

Sending you all my best wishes and i hope things get more bearable for you,The pain stops hurting as much and things will seem better soon.

    Hi Marion

Thanks for your added support. I really appreciate it.

Also St Lucia, I am sorry to hear about your loss to.

Hi MrsWalder, good to see you posting.

Hi Wonky, yes, got through my class. I just could not face mince pies. I hate them, I have 1 a year and realise how disgusting they are!! They would probably be ok if I made my own mincemeat as I find it so sweet. But going to make them in a couple of weeks as I have another class.

I made chocolate fudge in microwave (I have posted it on chit chat) and it was a great success and I might make it again for some little presents nearer the time. I just have not thought about christmas yet.

I am doing much better today and feel stronger. I know grief is a bit cheeky and comes in waves, but hopefully things will get better.
