    Hi Elaine,
    Food is food and I don't blame them. Feel same about all living creatures: they only want to live. As a good daddy to my hundred or so fish I had to protect them. Started out with six and they keep breeding. Oh Tortoise what a lovely pet very little trouble and ours could forecast the weather. They had a shelter and about hour before rain they went into it.Al
