Humble apologies, delboy, I have been distracted by other matters and I am very sorry I missed this. You poor thing, you have to hurt yourself to make things better? Not nice. Let's hope it works. Yours, in embarrassment, DD.

    Ouch

I felt that just reading about it!

I hope that the phrase 'no pain no gain' comes true for you, and that the exercises do help with your shoulder.

thinking of you and hoping that the physio is right and you can sort it out soon.

Wishing you all the very best, tomorrow, Del. I too have a dicky shoulder so I can sympathise with you. I have also fallen at least twice on the same shoulder and it is now, unfortunately, inoperable, because I went for an op and came back without it having been done and had to be content with a clean and washout instead.

Ooooooh del, that was an early appointment. You have to strangle yourself? That's some contortion required there, be careful! Is the massage self-administered or do you need the assistance of a second party? Anyhoo, I hope it all helps - when do you go back? DD

Morning Del, sorry to hear that you're suffering, I think physiotherapists were sent by Satan to cause more pain and grief... Hope it eases

Got mine at eleven today.. Wrists and hands, should be fun, haven't been doing too many of my excersises as mi hands have been so sore.. She said not to do too much with them if they were hurting. She also said that typing could help keep the hands supple so I get plenty of excersise on here! Lol

I have just got back in (strewth - I have covered some miles!) and my lovely electric fan is on triple strength! It was warm in there, I have to agree! I think seeing a specialist is a good idea - as is not doing that exercise any more. Take it gently tomorrow, and I hope you can see someone on Thursday. I hope you are OK, del. DD

Morning del, 'tis I, the yellow-furry tongued temptress aka DD. You poor thing, you are having a rough patch at the mo what with the bug, the shoulder and the naproxen. I am glad it helped a little with the pain and yes, perhaps missing the enbrel is a plan - I was on twice-weekly jabs, you too? Misssing just one or two doses may not be too bad and it will give your immune system a chance to fire up, just a little, and knock the bug on the head (sounds flu-like to me, rest as much as you can). I sincerely hope you feel better soon. DD

    Hi Del,

I am so sorry that things have gone downhill for you. It is very frustrating for you to be out of action and be in so much pain, I know you love your culinary duties so it will not be easy for you. I hope the meds kick in soon. I would push for an early appointment to see the shoulder specialist.

    Take care,
