I passed a shop yesterday and when I looked in the window there were rows of people sitting with their feet in tanks of fish and loads of people waiting. Its obviously very popular but eeeeeeuuuuuuuuuwwwwwww yuk yuk and yuk x:shock:

    Hi Cherry,

Naw I firmly in the eeeewwwwwweeee camp... would rather have a shoulder caressed by soldier ants I think

Just make sure the fish in question aren't this big and have red bellies :lol:

Good luck and well maybe they will help you. Cris x

Hello hels78, no time long see, I hope all is well with you. Please let us know how you get on with being eaten alive by fish - it does induce the shudders with me, I have to say. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

    Hi cherrybim
Taken me sometime to dare lookin this thread. Wondered what I was gonna read. Me.....a bit squeemish.
Feel ok though now that i have read it.
A great gift if you don't mind your feet touching.
I would splash as much as the fish I thinks.
    I am sooooo ticklish.
Hope you get the treatment when the stitches are removed and enjoy the experience

Well, I had it done last week and vow never to have it done again!
I had lovely smooth feet so it does work, but having my feet and lower legs in the water meant they were covered in Garra Fish for the full 20 minutes.
It didn't feel like bathing my feet in champagne, more like being sucked to death!!
I had a need to rub my feet together to get rid of them but of course doing this would kill them so didn't!
I'm glad I can say I tried it but certainly won't be repeating it!
Seriously though, I am a wuss so don't take what I say as gospel, it really did work. Just a very strange sensation!

Yes seen the one in Meadowhall val ( perhaps we should meet for coffee next time you are there) just down road from me! Not tempted by it though!

We have got one of these in Basingstoke and I was interested in it but now that I have read this thread I am not sure that I am keen on fish eating my skin off of my feet.

I saw it too in meadowhall.

Last time i didn't see the tank cause there were loads of people there.

This time no one around and I had full view of the tank, I don't think i could put my foot in there.... but it is a nice gift for some one who would.
