Morning Julie,
They will hit you with some restrictions but those might be short lived and you will be comfortabler and sleep better on your side or not. I had some bits done to the lumber years ago and soon as it was all mended they lifted the restrictions and its sort of held ever since.
So don't let that bit worry you flower..... I don't know how they will tell you to sleep with the neck op. My back restrictions were quite draconian but only for 3 months in the worst.
The next lot were easier and then just a list of things not to do/try......... Hopefully the thing it will do is help keep it stable and rid some of the pain.
We did each get what the other wanted but that's ok cus that means they have got yours soon enough and that's a good thing flower. If I could have it for you I would but I am not so bad with surgery.... mind they wont offer now, no hips or even take the pins out ..... they might have to re-think that cus one is breaking the skin just now.....thinking of a bit of diyWill either be a flat head or a philips
Leaving you a ((((( ))))) and a cuppa with a wish you have a good day. Cris xx0 -

Hi DD
I did have a good weekend thankyou , we bought the suits for the wedding.
But always at the back of my mind is the dam op, My mind is going in overdrive as i do certain things and wonder will i beable to do that and how will i tackle that. My main worry is being in the hospital and not being able to wear my leg as I can't put it on. I know i wil be in/on bed most of the time but it is the bathroom duties that i fear and trying to transfer myself with out the leg. At home i can cope, everything tailor made.
Guess i will cope, its just me again making a mountain out of a mole hill. Well I have broke my new years resolution which was not to worry this year. Didn't take long did it?
Hope everyone else is ok, enjoyed their weekend and have a good day today
Thinking of you all

You are not making a mountain out of a molehill, these are very valid concerns and are bound to worry you. Perhaps it is something you should raise next time you see 'the man' about the op, hopefully he could put you in touch with the pre-op bods, y'know, the ones you see before you go in. They are the ones who could perhaps put your mind at rest, maybe even prepare the nursing staff for your arrival. I dunno girl, it's a new one on me, but I am sure people will do their best to help you and make you as comfortable as they can. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this.
