    Awww Tony and Janet,

    Just caught up with this i am so sorry to read this, just to let you know i am thinking of you at this awful time and will miss you ((((hugs))))
    I dont know if you know that Debs is going through the same thing at the moment she is ditraught at the loss of her lovely dog Snowy. I have done a post just to let everyone know why shes not been around.

    Dear Tony and Janet, I'm so sorry that you have lost your beloved cat, Cleo. To live with a cat for 15 years is such a long time, and I know that she was a loved part of your family. She had a long and happy life ( the equivalent of almost 80 human years ) so I hope that you can take comfort from that. I'm so pleased that the vet was kind and sympathetic as this is so important at such a sad time for you.

    Thanks to everyone once again. Not really slept again. As you know I'm usually a glass half full type... Not at the minute. More of a house half empty one. It seems so strange without her. Ra is just wondering around not knowing what to do with himself.
    I am going to bury Cleo this morning in the garden. My brother inlaw is coming to do the digging. I hurt my back & knees enough yesterday carrying her to & from the vets. She was a large cat. Some on here have seen pictures and can vouch for that.
    Sorry if I am rambling, just need to get it out. My heart is broken at the minute. I know it will heal with time though.

    Oh Tony

    I am so sorry - what dreadful news I have come home to! You and minky too(with Snowy her beloved dog).

    I can only say i ahve been there with my darling eric Catona the summer before last and you beat yourself up0 for doing it, what you KNOW is right.

    It is you last DUTY as a caring owner and you did not shirk it. I am proud of you :sad:

    Everyone who has had to say goodbye to a beloved pet knows exactly how you are feeling today, Tony. You will miss Cleo so much, but I think that you will be comforted to know that she is out of pain and at rest in your garden.

    Just thought I would let you all know that we are doing ok-ish..
    I have spent the past hour putting together a movie/slideshow thing from photos of Cleo... As much as it brought tears to my eyes it also made me smile a little too.

    You are all such nice folks, I am so glad that I joined the forum, not just for arthur related support either..

    I will catch you all soon...

    Hi Tony,
    I am so sorry to hear the sad news of Cleo death. I have always been glad that I lay to rest my beautiful cat under her favourite bush. Every time I pass it I remember her.
    You will never be able to replace her as all animals have their own personality but one day there will be more smiles than tears when you think of her.

    Hope you , Janet and Ra are getting on ok and it's good to see you posting again . Have to mention though ; we have pictures of dancing Tony , Ra and Cleo - but no dancing Janet ! Feel better soon . Jillyb
