Hi Tony,
Glad your knees are no worse after your apt, i know when they've pulled me about im in agony for days! Not long till 18th so rest your knees so only dance on screen.

So, Tony, you’re at least armed with a bit more info for the appointment on the 18th. Hope it all leads somewhere positive and a bit less painful. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Good luck Tony , I'm in your pocket wishing you get the right result. Anything that helps your pain. ..............jilly x0

PS Unlike tkachev, given the choice between PA and OA I would opt for OA every time. No foul meds to take (that don't do much anyway) and perhaps some shiny new joints at some point. No contest. Typically human, yes? We always want what we don't have![/quote]
R.A for me every time cos I have no pain in my knees now(apart from recently with no Humira) so at least they got better without any operation or joint replacements Joint replacements need replacing eventually but I get your point about the meds.

I phoned the fella and left so message, he rang me back earlier, as well as the inflammation in both knees the left one has chondrocalcinosis, pseudo gout I think.. It's the word I couldn't remember earlier on..
Lol
Not surprising with a word like that though eh?
So possibly RA with a bit of crystal wotsits build up thrown in for good measure..
Lol

Catch you all later on...

To me 'calcinosis' hints at calcium related things - time to hit Wiki and discount at least 80% of info! I guess the chondro is the cartilage/ligament component, that's where you have had problems before with the dessicans. Oooooh, I am off to find out stuff! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
