I bought some Hot cross buns today, just having one toasted with butter.

    Stir fry, chicken in sweet chilli sauce for my nipper and also smoked pork with Jasmine rice for me and the war office, well it will be when I've cooked it!.

    I am about to start preparing ratatouille - onion, garlic, tinned tomatoes, green and yellow pepper and aubergine, lots of olive oil with basil, oregano and cinnamon. This will go with beef bangers (which will be done in the oven - I dry them out when I grill them - well I never said I could cook). DD

    I have had a lovely day at the seaside...and brought back some scones , just having them with strawberry jam and clotted cream....oops dont tell then on the diet thread pleaseeee :lol:

    As hubby has been home all day he cooked slow cooked lamb shanks with mash potato ......unfortunately my new meds seem to have killed my appetite :|

    I've made a Shepherd's pie today with Quorn mince. It's ok with onions and veggy gravy.

    I finished the last of the ratatouille for my lunch. Three days in a row I have had blasted rat. Pie tonight then chilli tomorrow. Yum-yum. DD
