Can't stop but just wanted you all to know its a boy, he will probabl;y be black and white like his mum but he is fine....
Nice easy 20 min foaling in daylight Sticky that must have been down to you You can go back on the roof now if you like?
Gits pics and will post them later but thank you all for being there.... he has many Aunties and Tony as his best Uncle..... at a distance Tony, promise
Will set him up and drinking and then pop back....
He trying so hard to workout what his legs actually do
Mum still hasn't cleansed but its all a bit soon and I don't think she knew she was going t foal today to be honest
Hope your all ok and we need names..... xxx0 -
Way-hay! It's a boy, it's a boy, it's a boy! Woo-hoo! I feel for him, I too am trying to work out what my legs are supposed to do. Oh skezier, I am delighted, this is such good news, I am so pleased for you. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hey, welcome to the world, little fellow! You picked a great place to be born. She’ll be putty in your hoofs in no time.
Skezier, I thought I foaled quickly but she beat my best time by nearly 2 hours. I guess she knew what she was doing all along. Give her a couple of really good carrots from me.
Now will you rest up a bit? (I know. I know. After she's cleansed.)If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

brilliant news Cris , and to come in the daylight double quick , welcome to the world and the forum little man you are in good hands xxI know i am a lady ,all life is a journey xx MAY xx0

I tell you, you probably heard the sigh of relief no matter how far away you are......
I only went out to do the chickens and there she was 2nd stage bag presents......
I like Spirt and I got one....
Teg its Cornish for beautiful and well he is.... wont rush into this one though cus I am not sure if Teg is much of a name really.... though he is
Right this one is ten mins after...... his feet look odd cus they have the soft bits covering them so the hooves don't tear the mare. The break off almost immediately they try and stand but he hadn't tried and was still shocked I think.... 101 degrees in his mum.... cold and very wet outside
http://i1011.photobucket.com/albums/af237/skezier/PICT0017.jpg
This one is an hour later..... now if your squamish this might not be the best one as the Gyps hadn't cleansed (she still hasn't but she has another hour before there is any worry.... )
http://i1011.photobucket.com/albums/af237/skezier/DSC03341.jpg
I did have to help him get on his feet as he is a bit slow big foals often are..... they are always boys as well The owner has been and we thought he could be called Cretin as its took him over an hour to work out how to drink. Now he knows he is really drinking for the UK
I must get cleaned up and dry but wanted to share these asap with you all as you lot have helped keep me buoyant and he needed someone who was.
Will be back after a clean up, dry up and celebrity cuppa
Oh and the bones.... they are just glad all they had to do was lift him up.... I wish they were better but then I also wish it would dry up and he could get a bit of sun on his back...... we want to know what colour he actually is....
Pale I reckon with the black coming through later..... xxx0 -

Cris he is lovely. His name is up to you as you can see him and know what suits him best.
(Though the other suggestions are great too.)
On reading your posts I reckon you fancy Teg most of all.
Hope you're enjoying him and let us know what you decide to call him.Love, Legs x
