a very quick hello folks while I've got good wifi signal.
Hotel is as lovely as I remember as is the food. Trip was good, even the part where I thought I was hallucinating chicken men.. Lol

Will be going up to the room soon as I'm shattered.. Will maybe just be able to get wifi in the room, if not will catch you later on.
As you can see Ra's ploy did not work, haha..

hi folks. Just waiting to go in for breakfast. Down here is the only place that the wifi works..
It is chucking it down outside....
Beds were very comfortable.. I am in a fair bit of pain from the journey though.. Plus now the rain too.. :roll:


Hoping to be able to get some nice photos today if the rain buggers off, then send them to Mrs Lawson..

Hi Julie mi dear.. Hope that you are ok, everybody else too...
Had my tea & toast, sat in the cosy wifi spot.. Lol
Janet & Tim are still in having their full mashings..

The wifi in the room is not quite strong enough to connect, but frustrating as I couldn't sleep straight away, watched Walking Dead on channel five, have already seen six episodes of it, brilliant series, well recommend it.

Hope someone is looking after my spitoon in Vals cafe... I see Robster has been posting music on my DJ thread.. Thanks Rkid.

Sorry if I am not sending PM'S out but as you can imagine, I'm limited for time etc.

Been a lovely day. After the above we went to where they filmed ballywatsit... I've no idea what they were on about, have sent pics to Joan. Some big yellow building in a village.. I was more exited as there was a red kite flying around.
Tried to get photos of it, not sure what they'll be like.
Am shattered now. Them two have gone for a wonder round, not me, not at the minute, lol..

Boy am I glad that I dint go for that walk with then two, I've just had to leave my evening meal, couldn't eat, pain is being a bugger. Come back up to room as I am seizing up. New patch went on this morning, maybe this one is taking it's time.

one last post for tonight.
We are going to Dublin in the morning for a few hours. Actually meeting up with my Cousin who lives over here.. He's taking a couple of hours off work for some lunch, probably a liquid one knowing him.. Lol

Tomorrow in the evening we will be going back up the hill where we spread the ashes a year ago... Meeting up with some family friends who had known Con (Janets Dad) since he was a kid..
Will be a sad but good thing to do.. Very emotional. There is a cat park three quarters of the way up and it's a little bit of a hike from there but I WILL make it up that's for sure.
Will get some photos looking over the town as it's a very scenic spot..

Goodnight one and all... Diazepam plus pain patch equals sleepy Tony :eek: :shock:

Just had another good breakfast. Will be getting on the coach soon for the Dublin trip. Meeting up with mi Cousin at twelve.
I pity my pain at the end of today, I'm hurting a lot already and that's just from standing up having a shave.
I think a diazepam will be my post breakfast treat.. Lol

We were watching a magnificent red kite yesterday over that river in the above photos.. It was huge..

I will see if Joan will post one of my pics, dunno how clear they are. Also there is one of me on the ferry that you may find amusing, shorts, vest etc, very bracing up on deck.. Lol

Wow Tony me ol'mucka looks like your having a lovely time inbetween your pain. Lucky you! Hope you had the pint of Guiness on me! Yes I saw 'walking Dead' on 5! Isn't that funny! I really enjoyed it! Had to explain to my OH when he came upto bed what it was about, I think he must have thought I was huluciating on the meds till he realised I was right! Great show can't wait till next episode right up my street loving anything horror!! Loved the photo's looks lovely. Loved pic of your cat sat on suitcase bubba does that!! Managed the hill last night, meant that I couldn't manage to get up for breakfast this morning though but it was worth it.
Payback is being one horrid beehatch at the minute. I'm in agony..
Not looking forward to the trip home to be honest. Although I have my diazepam.. Lol
We leave here at five thirty AM!!!
How ridiculous is that.

Right. Gotta go for our final evening meal here till next year.
