Disappearing again

Hi all

Things have been improving nicely for my hubby. He is still not right but we are going back to the doctors on Wednesday to try to sweet talk the doctor.

I had a new tattoo done this week by a friend of a friend. She is fully trained and a brilliant artist but she does the tattooing at home. Anyway she suffers with severe asthma and when my hubby walked in she asked him if he wanted a tablet to help. We had never heard of the tablets but I have got to say they are the most amazing things ever.

On Monday he could barely move due to his breathing - walking anywhere was a major effort. He took one of the tablets and by the time we left after having my tattoo done he was able to go shopping and he wasnt even out of breath. We saw one doctor and he basically said there is no way he could be given the tablets as they dont help and people have to be on their last legs before it is even an option. It wasnt our normal doctor and he was really abrupt. Anyway we are seeing another doctor (ours is on Paternity leave) and hopefully we can explain to this one that they do work and that he should issue them for my OH.

Apart from that things are great and by Tuesday I will have all my new equipment for my studies so I will be about on the computer a bit more instead of trying to balance the laptop on my knee and type with the other hand. I am not sure how it will all work but the training for that will be the following Tuesday. I will probably be spending a lot of time in the bedroom studying and playing with the new equipment.

Anyway sorry I havent been around but I am back now.

Good to see you are returning and hubby is improving. And I will keep my fingers crossed that your doctor will realise that the tablet did work for hubby and prescribe some for you. I shall be thinking of you both.
