very low and tearful

I've been to the doctors, didn't see my usual one who is brilliant but saw a fantastic doctor who actual deals with pain management.
He has put me on amytrypoline(mis-spelt) for the nights, and has suggested that I contact the hospital where he normally works to have hydro-theropy. He was discusted at the way I've been treated, and was gobsmacked that they let me go the next day on the main surgery. He asked about how physio was going and was shocked that I came home with nothing booked the only thing I received was some paper sheets as to what to do. So tomorrow will be fun.
Thanks to all of you again and will let you know what happens tomorrow.

Hi Karen
Im so sorry Iv have only just seen your post.
Gosh I feel for you, you poor thing, the treatment you have had has been awful.
Know wonder you are so tearful, but being like that is very common after an op, they are not sure why.
The amitriptyline at night will be a great help, and I really do hope that with this lovely doctor you will soon be on the way to recovery.
You take care of yourself
Lots of very gentle hugs coming your way...I wish I could give them for real.Love

Hi Karen
I have only just seen this thread. I dont come on the site as often and dont read nearly every one like i used to...i feel bit awful now about my comment on the glasses thread, sorry.
I hope your knee gives you less pain and that the tablets help you sleep. My friend has also just had her knee done a few days ago, I havent got in touch with her yet as family will be running round etc. I will let you and others who have asked me about it how it went etc.
I know how kids problems also affect us as we want to help them - I have had bad weeknd on this front so can imagine how you feel inside.
Hope today is better for you.0 -
Hi Oneday,
Don't worry, I am so glad that you said something otherwise you would still be thinking I was being unfriendly. I am sorry that you had a bad weekend, hope it is getting better for you now. Someone else put down that I had a knee replacement, it was my hip, but thats ok. And the tabs are working brilliantly, I'm getting a good night sleep. So I can cope with more things now.
