Think it might be because someone has taken a lot of nasty tools to your leg, chopped bits off and put others in, Legs. And filled you with lots of narcotics while they were at it. And after.

You’re doing great. The KRC (membership 2) is proud to have you as its chair.

Hi Ange, thank you so much for the update. I hope you are feeling ok ish.

    Hello Linda,
I am pleased you are home but as everyone said it has been a long road for you and it is no wonder you are feeling down. I know we expect to progress quickly and you did so well at the hospital so it must feel frustrating that now you are home things have gone to normal stop go mode.
Hang on in there, and remember things will get better especially with all the good vibes coming your way.

    Hello everyone,

Just dropping in very briefly to say thank you for all your encouraging comments.

A big kiss and cuddle, purely in a feathered way, for both Lynn and Ange for being such efficient pigeons.

Knew-knee doesn't like me to sit at my desk for long and my foot and lower leg are also still very swollen and bruised so sitting with them raised is the best position for them healing, which I'm unable to do when using the PC.

Wound still bleeds under stress but that'll improve when Mr Nurse-Legs finishes giving me the anti-clot tummy injections - only two more to go of those - thank goodness - I don't like them.

All your lovely posts will be printed off and stuck inside my journal ....so long as none of you mind.

Anyway must go now as knew-knee is beginning to ache again and is asking for a little walk.

I shall get back to you all properly when I'm able.

    Lots of love XXXXXXXXXXXXX
    Love, Legs x

    Hi Legs
Its good to see you back if only for a short time, what a brilliant idea keeping a journal...it will have to be a big folder with all these good wishes.
You take care and I hope the swelling goes down very soon.

Oh sugar! What did I write? Ah well, too late.

Legs, I'm most impressed that you allow Mr NurseLegs to come at your tender parts with a needle. How long have you been together?

I've always found a recliner most comfortable after a knee op. but, as I couldn't get out unaided, had to resort to the wheelchair & coffee table when Mr SW was out. Nowhere near as good.

Keep at it. Legs. You're doing great.

    Dear Linda

Just called in quickly to say that it will take time for you and your new knee to become good friends but you will. You are doing so well, things will improve. As you are keeping a journal, you will look back on it in two weeks time and be surprised to see how much further along you are with progress. I started a diary from my first knee op in 2008 and have kept one ever since. Try to be a patient, patient, hard as it is, but it is worth it in the end.

    Love and gentle hugs

    Elna x

Me too, Legs. Hope you've stopped leaking now but are still getting that 100% bend I'm so envious of. maybe, at a later date, we could try a 3-legged race - tie our 2 old ones together & sprint on the new ones?

    Hi everyone,

Here`s an update for you all.

    Lindalegs says:-

"Have had a tough week, with pain and tiredness. Had to ring the doctor for help on Wednesday. Turned a corner though, yesterday, and knew-knee started to feel a bit better, and is even better still today.

Missing you all, and looking forward to when I can join in with Forum duties again"...XX
