Hi Legs
Just leaving a hug and hoping you are soon feeling a little better. Am sure it has been a hard and painful time for you but was glad to see you were soon home.
Thanks Lynn and Ange for all the updates here, it is so nice to be able to keep up with those who aren't able to post so bless you both for being pigeons and keeping us informed.
Hope tomorrow is a good one Legs. ((( )))

Morning legs, I have been AWOL on me hols so have just read through and caught up. Surgery of any form is a proper trauma for the body and also the mind. As sticky so succinctly put it, they do carve you up and fill you with narcotics of a rather strong variety, so yes, it can take a while for both the body and mind to sort themselves out after. But they will. Go with the flow, hon: cry when low, laugh when not, do your exercises as best you can but not to excess, and gradually things will settle to a more even keel. You take care, I hope the leaking has stopped, oh and sterling work there by Mr Legs I have to say! I cannot envisage my ever letting Mr DD (much as I love him) anywhere near me with a needle.
It will all get better, that's a promise. It will take its time to do so but it will. I am thinking of you. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Dear Linda
So good to get news of you via Ange. You are going in the right direction, it ain't good in the early days post op for most of us but you are improving well. I hope you are writing a diary so that if you feel you are not progressing much/as fast as you would like, look back in the diary and see how far you have already gone on the road to recovery. We tend to forget what we felt like a week or so back until we read our past notes.
Loads of patience and good vibes floating your way.
Love

Hi Linda,
I do hope this week is a better one for you and you are feeling more in control of things.
Slow but sure is the way for now, but soon you and your new knee will be off out enjoying the dinning scene and the odd drink or three.
Gentle hugs,
Lv, I x0
