Sorry you are still suffering Tony. Just try to take it easy. I bet It was nice to get out though even if you are now suffering for it.

I over did it yesterday. The hw just kept on coming and as I didn't feel too tired I thought I might as well keep on keeping on. Now I am paying for it with my left leg, particularly the ankle.

    Thanks again girls...
I managed to walk round to the next door neighbours today, on mi crutches of course. Sat and had a cuppa and a chat then hobbled home. It's hurting a lot now but I need to get these pins moving..
My next target is the neighbour friend who lives just a few houses down on the other side of the road, think I will wait till day ate tomorrow then try..

I'd like to apologise while I'm here, for not being around much.. I'm afraid I'm rather fed up at the minute and not my usual self.. Can't seem to snap out of it. I've to go see the nurse on friday just to check my wounds from the op. Think I might try see the doc at the sane time... Been on some new anti depressants for a coupe of weeks or so now, not really doing much.. Will have a chat if I can get in to see them. Best going the same day as it will be a taxi there n back.

    I'll keep popping in though..

So physically you are doing very well Tony but not so in yourself?

I concur....the doctors it is...he may say that it's not unusual to feel very 'down' though after surgery.

    Hope you get some help

    Love

    Hi Tony

Sorry to hear that you are still suffering. Am I right that they have put you on anti-deps, if so, you've done well to stay of off them for so long, shows how strong you have been mentally. Give it time and things will pop into place. I am sending you big hugs of comfort, And I do hope that you are feeling more on top of things very soon.

    Hi folks..
Aye, just not feeling right at the minute, so not been around that much.

Karen, thanks hun. They gave me prozac for a while but it dint really cut the mustard... Now on mertazapine, gonna discuss them with the gp tomorrow. Got to go see the nurse anyway to remove these dressings...

Managed my goal for today though, across to the neighbours for a cuppa and back. Hurt like buggery now, back, hands, wrists, the lot, lol..

I'll be reet, just gotta figure out what's going on inside mi noggin cos this really isn't me..

Tony, you are pushing yourself to much in respect of what your body can do, and your head needs a rest too. you're overstressing your self and your mind. I am sending possitive thoughts to you.

    Thanks Karen.

    Quick update...
Seen the nurse, she was expecting to have to change steristrips on the four small incision sites, but only had to do one, excellent, healing well.. Still some swelling but not too much.. Thought I was crackers having em both done at once, so did the GP.. Saw him straight after.. He's doubled my mertazapine (anti-depressants) I've to try that for a couple of weeks..
    Here's hoping eh?

The support I've had on here has been top notch, thanks folks..

    Hi Tony

Just catching up with your latest news. Glad to hear that your knees are healing well, and that you are off out tomorrow. It sounds like a huge family gathering so enjoy yourself, but don't overdo it ( I bet you're fed up with being told that by now, but it's because we care )

    Love to you and Janet

Bless you both, Rose, Joan... I know you care, and it's a lovely thing knowing that.. Thank you.

I'm making sure that we get there early, I'm claiming the recliner sofa straight away....
Also taking my oromorph with me as well as my meds.
that will make the party GROOVY MAN :???:

It is quite a big house and the garden is huge. Think they're putting up two gazebos and something else out there.
You should see the size of the bbq he bought especially for this party a few months back.... It is ma-hoo-sive

I'm sure that I'll enjoy it. The kids will all be there for a start, that cheers me up in itself. Gonna be sad though, saying goodbye to young Tia & Alex, our niece n nephew... Off to the Isle of Man...
It should be a wonderful place for them to grow up..
They have a lovely picture up on the wall of the two kids sat on a bench with the wonderful but late, Sir Norman Wisdom..
Think he lived quite near to where they're going to be.
