What next one asks last week was a complete nightmare on Tuesday my daughter tells me her partner had walked out and has gone to stay with my eldest granddaughter saying my daughter kicked him out. then later I find out my Aunt of 85 is in hospital with carbon monoxide poisoning and fighting for her life. then Friday Auntie is a bit better so things are looking up there or so we think cause today all that has changed and she has gone down hill again and they are now sayig there is not much else they can do for her. My mind is a complete jumble with it all no wonder my pain levels have risen today. the good thing to come out of this is that after nearly 4 weeks on citalopram I feel remarkable calm about it all long may this continue. sorry to bother you all with this but I just needed to write all down feeling better for having done so.
take care all
Stay positive always👍xx

Carol, I'm so sorry to hear that you have all this going on, as someone else said having arthur is bad enough without added troubles. I also take citalopram and find it really does help when you have other things to cope with, as I've found with my family problems. I hope everything will sort itself out and you can relax again, thinking of you and sending (((())))

    Hi all you lovely people
thank you all for your lovely replies and support yesterday they really do help. After a few tears this morning I do feel a lot better (despite the pain i'm in) and not so jumbled up in my mind. At least auntie is not suffering anymore and although her passing was expected at the start of the week it was a really devestating when it happened, she was always a lovely and very jolly lady and always life and sole of any party. I have so many wonderful memories of her when I was a lot younger. to numerous to list or I would be here all day. As I sit here typing this things she said or did the past keep coming into my mind. The whole family are devestated cause although we are scattered and may not see one another very often but we are all very close. The funeral is the next thing to get through for all of us but untill then I know I have to be very positive to get through this time, and yes my faith will keep me strong and I know I have to have some me time so will try very hard to do this.
when I have posted this and my last lot of meds I have just taken kick in I am going out and treat myself to a very large latte and lunch out.
oh my goodness this is such a long post  but I needed to put it all down
    thank you all

My family, friends and faith got me through my loss, and the support of the lovely friends here on the forum including you Carol helped me so much through the memorial last week.

Of course you needed to get it all down, Carol. And keep on doing so whenever you feel like that. This is a very tough time for you. I will be thinking of you.
