Thanks Elna, good to see you to ............thank goodness it was only a wound infection and it was stopped before it entered my bloodstream and attacked the joint
Bet it's brought back memories of your TKR too.Love, Legs x

I'm always thinking about you, in a friendly way of course, wondering how your new knee is doing. So sorry to read about the infection. Pretty nasty stuff. Even not being able to eat isn't a bonus in that situation.
Anyway you are on the mend now and that is very good news.
As for spilt flour Legs my son empties the stuff in my bathroom to run his thomas the tank trains through. It gets everywhere. Dustpan and brush job i'm afraid.
All the best

Hi E,
Good to see you there. would you mind bringing your dustpan and brush round here as I've managed to resist the vacuum cleaner up to now?
Hope you're well.

Bit far for me to bend legs so have to get OH to do it. Then I get scolded for letting my son find the flour/talc/sugar etc....
I'm doing okay cheers.

You have to admire your son's imagination really don't you ????? ...well I can from afar when I'm not the one cleaning it up. Good suggestion of yours though Elizabeth I got my long handled brush out and swept it all around the carpet now you can't see it was ever there
Glad you're doing okay

Hi Linda
It did bring back memories of my TKRs but especially my mum as she had an infection post op after her TKR and the pain was well off the scale.
Onwards and upwards as they say or is it the other around
Love and hugs

Hi Elna, fortunately I was still on the synthetic opiates from the hospital (I'm weaning myself off them now) so as far as I was concerned it was just post op pain and consequently only went to doc because a little spot was weeping at the side of the scar  Good job I did eh!
Minkymash I was just getting into my training regime but will now take your advice Good to see you too

yes I do admire sons imagination. It is really sweet. He painted the en-suite with nail varnish too-not sure what that was meant to represent!
