Oh Berty!
Naughty Ned  :???: wayward indeed.
Sorry this has happened to you  . I haven't heard of a button behind the knee following a re-surface. Sounds complicated? ... but I do hope that the op with the re-alignment sets things right for you and Ned (I'm assuming he'll still be there?!)
Do you know when you're likely to have this op? is it the 26th?

Hey Iris
I am glad your surgery went well and that you are on new meds, hope it really helps. I will be in your pocket on 22nd September for your TKR. I wont be able to make it in your pocket on the 9th as I am having both my hips replaced that day but I will still be thinking of you. Hope things continue to improve for you. Sending you hugs xxBig Hugs

Hi Iris,
So thats why the curtains need mending  you can never get a dog to help right can you ..... even a yellow one
Like you I get a lot of problems typing.... I am lucky gt an old pc table (huge and metal) and its got a slide out draw that comes out over the armchair so as long as I don't have to use the left hand too much I don't have ti lean over the keyboard....
I really hope you can find a way that doesn't hurt you cus you know what it's SOME good to have you back
Love and the usual noses
Cris who is off now to fine tune the sheeps lullaby and get them to try and sing in tune..... xxx0 -

Morning Julie
I'm ok today thanks.... some nausea and a little funny turn yesterday which I'm thinking might be caused by starting on statins on Friday. Got the doc to phone this afternoon anyway so will mention it to him.
Peppermint creams :!: :!: my very favourite.
thanks Julie and hope you are feeling better today and the neck gremlin isn't nagging at you
Hi Jean
a fellow scot I see...nice to meet you. I used to live in Kilmarnock so know your lovely part of the country pretty well.
You're having both hips replaced Wow... I'll be in your pockets for sure on the 9th from the assessment unit. Most of the time is spent waiting so I'll definitely be thinking of you then. :!:
Hi Cris me old flower..
I like the sound of your metal table with the moving legs...just as long as it doesn't run away from you, or with you.
Thanks for the lullaby... you sure you tried to get the gals to sing in tune?
Still keeping fingers crossed that the xperiment is doing it's job.
Hi Toni
[Oh heavens to murgitroyd, what a dilemma !
my mother told me about that saying...as I'm waaaayyy too young to remember that...
think I'll now 'exit stage left'... :
It's lovely to be back ! Fandabydozy in fact
You should steal your sister's car keys and feed her the finest food so she'll stay. I could also whistle up a memory loss potion for her? but I am a little rusty !
or... you could try a more physical means of keeping her with you.
have a good day all.

Fandabywhat???? never heard of that phrase  shhh!!! When l do my Scottish accent (or rather Daisycat does hers  ) l/she sound(s) just like that woman who used that catchphrase!!
Took her to a lovely 16th century place in Stafford yesterday and treated her to lunch...guess what she chose...highland vegetable broth
So you can get it here...no neeps some tatties
Am trying the fair means, but will bear foul in mind!!!

Thanks Barbara
I'm doing my best to avoid my poor virus laiden family at the moment.... two sisters (and my lovely twister), a nephew, a neice and a son-in-law, have got some horrible fluey virus...... sore throat, shaky limbs, high temp, coughs and sneezes.. the lot!
One of my other nieces has Salmonella
If I can keep away from all the bugs before the op I'll be doing well.
thanks again Barbara..... your kind thoughts are appreciated.
Iris xxx
ps... I don't mind sharing vibes with our lovely Cris.0 -
it wont be long now Iris till you are done and dusted , just keep a mask on if you do have to go visiting , i hope all goes well on the 6th xxI know i am a lady ,all life is a journey xx MAY xx0

Dorcas, I believe there is some sneaky correlation between our ops and family viruses. My sister was due over the weekend before one of mine. She announced she had a filthy cold but 'you don't mind me coming, do you?' YES!!! I Do. I want my op.
Stay away from the lot of them. You'll have plenty of time to kiss and make up once their kisses are germ free.
Almost into the countdown. We'll all be there with you, metaphorically and virus-free speaking. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
Steven Wright0 -
Yikes Iris there is a lot of germ dodging going on there. I had better disinfect the keyboard before I press send.....
I have everything crossed for you, I am sure you are just wanting to get it over with now and be rid of the horrible pain.
Hugs and good vibes coming your way,
Lv, I x0
