Surgeon nearly fell off his chair

Eight weeks post-op TKR revision check-up this morning.
I was asked to flash my knee. I then had to bend it as far as I could and my surgeon was amazed at my 120 deg bend so soon post op and also that I could fully straighten and hold it whilst I was sitting. He also asked me to walk across the room and back whilst he watched ..............so I sashayed along in my best runway glide
He was so pleased with me that I've come back feeling very self satisfied and relieved that all the work exercising before and after has paid off. It has hurt doing the exercises and I must admit it hasn't been the highlight of my day but I'm so glad I've stuck to them.
So if you wouldn't mind forming a queue and giving me a gentle pat on the back, please, because I damn well deserve it.
.........................and, of course, if no one adds to this thread I'll know it's because I'm a smug, big headed s*d but guys I feel soooooooo good

Way hay! We know how to shock these consultants don't we, Linda? Same happened to me. He said you won't get more than a 100 degree bend - WHAT? We show 'em, don't we? Totally agree my lovely, the exercising is not all good, but well worth it just to see the surgeons face
Hope you are still feeling very smug for some time. You have really done great considering you had some horrid, horrid times post op, this time round.
