Thank you for that Iris I loved my normal day I was really pleased because I walked around chatting to different people for well over an hour and before the operation I could only weight bear for 15 minutes before needing to sit down.
Anything you need to know about your impending TKR, as I've said to you before, please ask. I'll always be honest and never alarmist.
Take care.

Thanks Cris and the mead will do fine ......I don't want it in a plastic cup because you can't chink the glasses for luck
..............and incidentally you make as much sense when you're shattered as when you're refreshed ............which is perfect, as I understand everything you say
Take care, loveLove, Legs x

Thanks Dreamdaisy I hope you manage to stick to your reduction of steroids (which can't be easy) but will help you achieve your end goal of weight loss and then surgery.

Hi Linda,
It was great to read that you have improved so much in the last week. Not forecast such a good weekend but it might be best to snuggle down with a glass of mead and a shared glass of wine. Maybe a trip out with Mr LL for a belated anniversary meal is on the cards.

Hi 'I'
I'm now doing everything I did before, and more. I even managed the weekly food shop this morning almost with ease  I'd forgotten how good feels to be like this
Mr Legs and I are having a steak dinner with mushrooms, peas, fried onions, CHIPS and wine on Sunday to celebrate our anniversary which I couldn't do before because I hadn't got an appetite.

WOW Dreamdaisy I thought my thread had sunk without trace
I'm fine, in fact I'm me once more (I was going to say 'normal' but I can't ever claim to be that )
I'm off my Mtx so arthur's beginning to raise his ugly head again but I have to wait to see my Rheumy next month to discuss my meds so till them I'll keep chucking my painkillers down my throat if I find I'm having a tough day.
Hope you're wellish today.Love, Legs x

Oh that is so good to hear! You have come through with flying colours my girl, hats off to you. (Your thread was only on page 2, easy to find!) I have done my meth today (messy but done) and today would appear to be a reasonable one (one stick only around the house and I can nearly wipe my feet on the doormat.) It's odd what stuff constitutes a good day in our lives, isn't it? You keep up the good work, legs, I am so happy for you. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Crikey! Does the forum allow this sort of stuff? My mother did warn me. What did they put in your revision that seems to have been omitted from mine?
I’m not sure I fulfil both the criteria. I am definitely female but the jury has been out for some time on my loveliness. The revision, on X-ray, is stunningly beautiful. The rest of me doesn’t quite live up to its promise. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Oh sticky! Classic, classic stickystockyticky! I don't doubt your loveliness, it's just a different kind to everyone else is all.
Afternoon legs, how are things progressing? Climbed any mountains yet? Run any marathons? Broken Bolt's 100 metres word record? Seriously, I hope that all is well and that you are going from strength to strength. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
I have done all of those Dreamdaisy and more besides ................in my mind :!:
Have actually done Sainsbury's shopping with Mr Legs taking the trolley when it got heavy. Been taken out for a coffee by my friend who then dropped me at my in-laws for a chat and now I'm going to cook supper. So I've done more than all those things you suggestedLove, Legs x

Hello legs, well done to you on coping with Sainsbury's (and yes, those trolleys do get one, don't they, once they are loaded). You are certainly 'sounding' so much brighter and happier and that can only be a good thing. Take care. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
