    Hi DD,
How do we separate one days pain from another day? Easier than over a few days and longer periods are difficult. Trouble is it's all subjective and mixed with all those difficult emotions that arther brings to us.

I suppose we ought to make up a chart, just to remind ourselves how we did feel two months ago and how that compares with last week and now. I do go downhill towards the end of the day.

Those positive feelings certainly do help us, not that they did much for Wales last w/e, that ball was in by miles! What a refreshing attitude they took, their trainers did a good job on building up their mental attitude.

    Keep smiling.

Hello Airwave, it's nioce to hear from you. I agree about going downhill towards the end of the day, I start that gentle slide at about mid-day then it is mind over matter - I do mind but that doesn't matter. Stuff still has to be done.

I think you are right, we do lose sight of the better days as they are possibly rare and in danger of becoming rarer. I am finding the two sorts of arthritis hard to manage, the drugs for one don't help the other and the other is the worst pain-wise, so yes, it is very frustrating. Never mind, I am a natural Tigger rather than an Eyeore, I had lost perspective and the .5 increase felt like a defeat when in fact it wasn't, but I guess it's the old wood/trees scenario. When you are in the middle of something you need others to highlight the truth/positives.

I was also amazed by that decision but then the ability to get things wrong is an endearing human trait! I doubt anyone leads an error-free life - it was a sterling performance by the Welsh and I hope they can do the same again in their next match - and win. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben
