Morning everyone,
Well I have another consultant appointment tomorrow.
Dont know whether you remember the GENERALIST??? I was sent to see a while back. He ordered a lot of scans.
Tomorrow {Tue} he should have the results and what actually might be wrong with me {apart from arthur of course  } The GP is flummoxed since they discovered this fractured pelvis and is hoping that he can work it out.
There will be the result of an MRI liver scan .....DEXA Scan {although I can be fairly certain of the result of that already} and then the radioactive scan :lol: What the connection is with a liver scan and a fractured pelvis/or sacro illiac sprain as it was first diagnosed I dont know!!!!!! As for the radioactive scan.....not a clue :lol:
I just want someone to put a name to it then I'll be able to cope with it....I hate this not knowing and going back and forward to hospital for various tests.
Oh you never know ladies.........you might get the result of the amount of gallstones {if any} as well.........Toni have you still got the list of who said what :lol::lol:
Sorry.....Its at 1.45...nearly forgot
Love
Hileena

    Hileena,

I do remember the mystery of a generalist! I hope you finally get the answers you want and it's nothing too serious and can be sorted out, you have enough on your plate. Always god to get a diagnosis to give it a 'name' then hopefuly onwards and upwards.

In your pocket without a doubt. Xxx

    Dear Hileena

I want to wish you all the best at your appointment and I do hope that with all the information gathered together you find out what is actually going on. You are a brave lady, as I have said before. With all these appointments you need a pa or a special diary to list them all in.

    Look after yourself,

    Love

You think you are going to win Toni :lol: You going to fiddle it :lol:
I'm not at all brave just tankful that we have an NHS and I have a good GP now that is interested enought to try and find out whats wrong....Very fed up and very depressed all through it. Not clinically depressed but very "low, down and fed up.
Thats why I hope i get a name put to it....does make a difference when I know what I'm dealing with. It could be the extra tablets making me feel like this or just the not knowing...oh well.....find out soon

Well, we could all chip in with a few suggestions, Hileena. What’s my silence worth?

Ah, The Generalist. How could we forget? It always sounds to me as if it should be a film about George Smiley starring John Wayne. (I have a vivid imagination.)

Of course I shall be with you in spirit, hoping for some good, easily treatable answers.

    Hi
Not a very successful consultation. I feel as if i'm taking steps back rather than forward.
The Dexa scan...he has no results for....says the GP will have those
The MRI liver scan....There are lots of gallstones but it looks like one blocking the bile duct which is the cause of the nausea etc
Radioactive scan......He says I have a fractured sacro illiac joint as well as pelvis but they are sorting themselves out.
As far as the liver and gallstones are concerned I've been referred to a colleague {or will be} for an ERCP.......apparently to remove the gallstone and decide if i need my gallbladder removed.
So thats it...more appointments more tests and still dont know much more LOL Thanks for all your support
    Love
    Hileena
