Well, I guess on the one hand you don't know much that you didn't know before. On the other hand I suppose the fact that there's nothing you weren't already aware of could be seen as good.

A tiring day, I should think. Have a jar on me, Hileena.

My poor hileena, you must be worn out. Any hospital appointment is tiring but ones that don't clarify the current situation are the worst. You rest up tonight, please remember that me (and some others too) are thinking of you, and I am sure it will all get sorted in due course. DD

Sorrry it wasn't more positive for you, but at least you haven't been fobbed off, it may take time but at least you will be moving forward. I'm not sure I'm being clearin what I mean, but still feeling a bit dopey!!!!

    Hi Hileena

I wish you'd had a better appointment with all of the results available, your questions being answered and solutions on the horizon.

I think you're amazing ...coping with a fractured pelvis and sacro-illiac joint all of this time!
The consultant seemed somewhat blase in talking about it too.

I hope you don't have too long to wait before the ERCP... and that the worst of the gallstones can be removed at that time.

I'm not going to say 'don't worry' ......you've had nothing but worry and frustration for so long a time, while you've waited for the medics to decide on appropriate support and treatment.

((((hugs)))) and please let us know when you need us to jump back in your pockets
we're here still here for you Hileena.

    Hi Hileena

Sorry I didnt make it into your pocket today. I was hoping you would be feeling much better knowing what was going on instead of facing more appointments and treatments. Hope you are ok and I am sending you big hugs xx

    Hi Hileena,

I guess he has helped by passing you to his colleague who might just be able to help you but I am sue it doesn't feel like that just now.

I wish they would just get on with finding out and help you! Did he give you any idea how long the wait will be? Think it should be a rush job actually and hope they will just get your sorted and help! Hang in there. Cris xx

    Hi,
Thanks for all your replies. I think the consultant said this other one had a clinic on a Mon at my local hosp. and would get a letter off to him right away so sounds as if he is hoping for Mon. but presumably that will be a consultation and nothing more.
The GP is ringing me today so I will check with her about the Dexa scan.
I've got an appointment with the back specialist next Tuesday......dont know why????? If you remember i was due to have a 2nd THR last Oct and the ortho decided he would send me to a back specialist...thought the pain might be coming from the back. MRI should it was but when I saw him which would have been Oct Nov last year he just made me walk across the floor and then said sorry I cant help, I'll discharge you to a physiotherapist and that was that. Suddenly get an appointment to go and see him????? Why goodness knows??? If he couldnt help me then dont see what he can do now.
Pull yourself together Hileena and stop
    being such a misery

I don't think you sound miserable, just confused. These medics sometimes are so blunt and make you feel as though you've hit a brick. Maybe he thinks the physio can sort you out with some exercises in order to give you better muscle support.

Now he probably thinks you need reassessing by the back specialist. Maybe have a chat with your GP when she rings, she may be able to make things clearer for you.

    Hi,
Just feel as if I'm going round in circles....in the middle of all the different appointments with different consultants I got a letter saying i had an appointment with a back specialist.....I last saw him ...last Oct.....when they were about to do my 2nd THR and decided it might be my back  Anyway.....he told me to walk across the floor, checked my reflexes and said theres nothing i can do for you except an operation and I dont advice that...I'm discharging you to a physio. So why an appointment with him again I dont know....another waste of time on Tuesday  As for this other appointment to do with my gall bladder ....goodness knows when that will appear

    Love
    Hileena
