Another Emergency Appointment for Poppyg1rl

She is going to see her rheumatologist at 5pm and is very grateful and relieved about that.

She has assured me she will be staying in bed until then (I suspect DD must be sitting on her) but I know she would appreciate any support you can give as she so needs something to change for the good.

Good luck, Poppy. We'll all be there with you.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Hi all,
    Thanks so much everyone, Im shattered and need a lie down, but saw a Rheumy, not my usual but still very nice, had a check over on the shoulder, he's happy that I've retained full movement, but obviously not happy that I'm so sore, he thinks that where ive compensated using my other good shoulder and arm ive put it under too much stress,good news is I can go back on methotrexate tomorrow, and enbrel on Friday, there's no bad news other than I'm back to blood tests every 2 weeks again.
    He said what my Rheumy said a year ago, that the PA is agressive, ( I know!) he's made an appt for me to see my Rheumy on 19th December to check on how I am.

    Glad the appointment went well. Hopefully the drugs will kick in soon and you will start to feel much better.

    Our lovely Poppy was up bright and early this morning - to take some more paindullers.

    However, she's also taken her first post-op dose of meth so can we have all forum fingers crossed please? The Enbrel will follow.

    Poppy, I do hope the kick in asap.

    Hi Poppy, I hope you got a good sleep and glad you are allowed back on the meds and hope they work for you. I know what you mean about the 2 weekly tests I am back to that one as well :roll: Good luck and let us know how you get on with the meds xx
