Oh Thankyou everyone, you are all so kind and encouraging
I'm feeling a little better and brighter in myself, that was one of the worst flares I've ever had. But it's done now, out of the way and I'm ready to fight back  metoject was fine, let's hope it and enbrel start to kick PA bottom eh?
By the way, my scar has improved due to me using good old fashioned virgin olive oil, so now it looks good and I'm hungry all the time
I really couldn't have got through this time without you all, the pm's the emails the phone calls...I'm lost for words.
You are all very special, absolutely wonderful people Xxx

Hi Poppy, so sorry I am late to this. I have only just seen the thread. I hope the meds help to settle the flare. I am glad you have hadso much support, as you deserve it. Rest up and let the meds do the work.

Pace yourself and take it easy. We all want you about, but we dont want you to make things worse for yourself.

    Hi Poppy,
Glad the first mtx went well and I have everything crossed that it kicks in soon for you. In a way it will be good to get back to the usual meds routine and the added olive oil sounds inspirational!!

    Gentle hugs,
    Lv, I x

Poppy, I am not suprised you got low, you have been through weeks of rubbish, and have a family and life to try and live as well as coping with arfur and other stuff. It is only natural, it takes all our reserves off strength, they need to be topped back up again.

You always help others, Poppy, that is why you have had so much support.

Morning, my love. I know it's too early to expect anything from the meth but I just stopped by to send a hope and a wish. TAKE THINGS EASY!

    Dear Poppy

It is soooo good to see that you have turned the corner. As you have been feeling so terrible, I can well imagine your elation now. Long may that last. It was such a long time that you were extremely unwell. You take care though and look after yourself, it is so easy to overdo things once feeling more "normal".

I hope your day goes well,

    Love
    Elna x

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

Thanks Tracey, Elna,Sticky,Hileena, and all of you lovely people who posted wishing me well, it really, really does help me to know you all care.
I'm absolutely and utterly drained today, I know it's just the methotrexate tiredness kicking in, so nothing to worry about.
I've slept and slept and don't feel any benefit from it at all, you wonderful people understand and know how fatigue feels, trying to explain it to my mum today was like hitting my head against a brick wall.
Not that she is uncaring or unsympathetic, she just couldn't get her head round having slept all night and most of the day that I wasn't up bouncing along full of the joys...it didn't help that we quarrelled, but she has her own issues that I foolishly thought I could help her with.
    I won't do it again.
Sorry this is a rather bleak post from me  it'll all come out in the wash as my lovely Nan used to say
Love and hugs to you all x

Remember that line from The Arthritic's Prayer? 'Lead me not into the temptation of doing too much' so take life easy my girl, on all fronts, for another week or so at least - preferably another two, three would be great. You have your own problems to sort and this is the 'Poppy' time to do so. It's not selfish or un-necessary but I guess that doing so kicks against everything you feel about you: you are important, you matter, you need to put yourself first and give yourself the time and attention you need. I am thinking of you. DD
