Suzy I'm so sorry to hear of the rough time you're having. I hope the increase in the prednisolone helps along with everything else. It's a hard old slog sometimes is'nt it, but you'll come out the other end. Try to rest as much as you can and be kind to yourself. Big hugs, Rita.

Afternoon all, I have taken the increased pred this morning and am less stiff, still in pain, but thats normal. I am still feeling very emotional and down about it all.

Have lit my trusty oil burner and have promised myself a tv evening and some crisps

No one around me seems to get it. My hubby just says oh, when I told him. After 5 years he thinks I should be used to it, and just regards it all as normal. Last night my joints were on fire, really bad. My boys are normal teenagers and oblivious, just used to mom being ill and I am all stressed over Izzy who isn't doing very well at all. Just feel I am all worn out from being there for everyone and not got anyone for me. Feeling very sorry for myself today, sure it will pass it always does. I know others are worse off than me, its just I hurt.

Sorry to complain so much.

    hi Suzy,

oh flower i hope the pain has let up a bit? i hate folk being in pain you know.....

do you think collar would help at all> i said to you over the other thread about a friend saying she had cut hers a bit and it helped so....

you have had such a rough week and stress and worry makes the bones shift worse but the stress and worry is because you care about your little girl. i know with my lot i worry and nothing stops it till they are better....

when its a senior employer the worry goes to hyper drive but again i promise you Izzy is gong to be fine but have left you some bits about that over on the other thread.

Suzy i can;t stop the pain for you but would if i could. you are always there for my self and so many others and now we all are there for you and well leaving you a hug, a hope and a universal fixer bucket. love and more hopes Cris xx

Thank you all so much. The 10mg of pred is working, still in pain etc, but not as bad as it was. Touble is the extra pred is not helping my over emotional state, however I am taking an hour or two quiet time now to calm down and try and get back to normal.

For all those who have helped me with Izzy, thank you. We have just come backfrom her check with the vet. I phoned the practice manager and stated my concerns calmly and she was lovely. She said if I cam down and asked for her, she would see Izzy straight away and check her over.

The poor cat was shaking so badly the cage door was rattling  The vets was heaving, so I am really grateful they saw her straight away as the wait would have traumatised her. They have put a smaller collar on her which is lighter and she can lift her head up now. She has perked up a little to be home, and I hoping she will carry on recovering well now.

I went to Dans footie match yesterday and it was freezing, wasn't really prepared for it, so got very cold. It was foggy and damp, winter has finally arrived I think.

Hope everyone else is doing well. I am feeling brighter today.

    Hi SG

Good that the pred is starting to work and that your pain although still there, it is getting a littl more bearable.

Sorry I didn't know who izzy was  I must have missed where you have posted about her (I do tend to miss things you know  ) but I am pleased that you were able to take her back to the vet and get your worries about her sorted. I hope she recovers now more quickly.

You are quite right about the winter returning, all day for us too it was damp and foggy yesterday. Just damp today.

Take care, and keep your chin up

    love & Hugs (((((((())))))))
