POPPY Update....

I have the honour of being p.a for Poppy for the day.

She has asked me to let you all know she fine, (we know what she means). :roll:
The scan has been done and found fluid, she is now on an antibiotic drip to help with infection which is still in her shoulder.

As usual Poppy will be badgering the docs and nurses to go home, and she hopes to be home this afternoon.

She wishes you all well, and says dont worry.

Lots ((((x)))) and sending her positive vibes to help her on the mend. Xx

    UPDATE:

    Poppy is now home, couldnt stand it anylonger on the ward, well i for one am not suprised :lol:

    The sickness she has been warned about has been pretty nasty, but she doesnt mind if the meds help.
    Her hubby has sent her to bed,so she has someone at home looking after her, good on him.

    Poppy - really hoping that drip does the job good and proper - and that the sickness doesn't happen.

    Hi All, sorry for the delay, this PA has been slacking, :oops:

    Just to say Poppy still at home and behaving herself. She was finaly given anti sickness meds so she hopes they will put a stop to that and she will be able to eat and drink.

    Will update further when i hear, so sorry for delay.

    Hi everyone,
    Just wanted to say thankyou for all your lovely kind messages of support. I've been horrendously sick, but anti sickness pill finally working now. I'm so sore and bruised where the drip went in, the shoulder feels like its been used as a punch bag :roll: and I'm afraid with the usual PA pains I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself.
    I've been a bit low recently, and hit rock bottom today. A combination of ill health,and lots on my mind, my goods friends here know why, and I can't tell you all how much your support has meant to me. DD, Sticky, Cris, apologies if I leave anyone out, but again my thanks to you all.
    I'd like to say a huge thankyou to my wonderful pa Clare for everything she has done on here, and through email trying to cheer me up :P
    I'm sure things will get better, i know that there's always someone worse of than me. My love to you all Xxx

    (((Poppy))) sickness on its own is enough to make anyone feel low, let alone with all the other things you are having to contend with. I am sincerely hoping the sickness has gone today, and that you start to pick up a little.

    I am sure you are totally fed up and bored of the whole saga by now, you poor thing. I admire your courage and spirit, which is kind and caring.
