    Thanks Val!

And don't worry about lack of cozy. Anything will do - and we will all be too tiddly on margharitas to notice what anyone else is wearing!

This is a quick post to let you all know that the hydro has been cancelled today as tilly is having trouble with her breathing. DD

(((hugs))) Tilly, I hope you can rest up and try again tomorrow. I am sure you are disappointed but best to be careful.

    Thanks peeps.

Right - pool party hopefully rescheduled for tomorrow morning - but you'll have to be up early cos it starts at 10am. Pretty sure they will say I can't go into the pool but can but try. But I am at hospital for physio and OT tomorrow as well so won't be a wasted journey if hydro is off the agenda.

Thanks again for thinking of me.

    Love Tillyxxx

Ps Val - there might be men there so maybe best pack your pjs just in case!

I hope the physio goes well tomorrow, Tilly, and the hydro too if you are allowed. I know they are very careful about letting people in with any breathing difficulties. I suppose it could go pear-shaped but I suspect it's more to do with our old friends 'elf 'n safety. Good luck.

    Thanks all!

I got the go ahead for hydro and it was brill! Have ordered fresh drink supplies for tomorrow and some sparkly drink umbrellas - so same time tomorrow for anyone who's up for it!

Cris - I have to say I didn't recognise the deer in the wetsuit but apparently he enjoyed his swim and I don't think anyone else spotted him!

I'm glad they let you back in, Tilly.

    Did someone mention drinks?

    Hello peeps.

Just to say thank you to DD for starting this thread and to everyone for their kind words over the past couple of weeks.

All done and dusted now and although I am (as predicted) very tired, I am very pleased I was able to go. I feel much less alone (medically speaking) now and have been given a follow up appointment with physio and OT towards the end of Jan to see how things are going and whether there is anything further they can help with. I will be able to continue with the hydro (once a week for 12 weeks starting in February) and then in 6 week blocks once places become available so I am really pleased about that.

And for those of you who have not had the opportunity to try hydrotherapy, I would say that, if you get the chance, go for it cos it is FAB.

    Thanks again.

    Love Tillyxxx

I am so pleased it all went well, Tilly, and that there's more to come. (Or is it just the poolside drinks that are the attraction?) (Who wrote that???)

Enjoy your Christmas. You've earned it. And a good new year to look forward to.
