Oh dear, yesterday our lovely dreamdaisy had a fall at home and today she is bruised from top to bottom. I was hoping that she wouldn't be too bad after a good nights rest but that isn't the case. She is so very sore and of multiple colours x:(
I think she could do with a few soothing hugs please (((((((()))))))
thank you.

DD I hope you are able to rest my lovely and that you feel much better very soon.

Love & Hugs Juliepf (((((((()))

Thank you everyone, your messages have really helped to console and cheer. It was such a silly thing but I've worked out a way to avoid it happening again. I caught the toes of my right foot in the flare of the left trouser leg and down I went, arms out to break the fall (of course), on the way down I slammed into and bounced off the door and ended up face down, the large on-board air-bags squashed underneath me (ouch!) and oh boy did everything hurt. It has continued to hurt and it's only now, about 27 hours later that the bruising is beginning to emerge.

So, my solution? I shall become an arthritic naturist. Simples. I must admit I am feeling very sorry for myself, but I hope to be back to my irritating Tiggerish self tomorrow. Or at least by Thursday. Perhaps.

Thank you, Julie, for doing this for me, I appreciate it. DD

Oh DD, your poor thing! I'm sorry you're black and blue. :( Have you tried arnica? It really does help. I hope you don't feel too sore this evening.

I think you're on to something with naturism. I know my life would be easier if I didn't have to faff about with buttons, zips, shoes etc! You might want to trademark the term 'arthritic naturist' before someone else gets on to it.

    Sending love! x

I have to admit, Starburst, that arnica does not cut the mustard with me, I'm a witch hazel girl (or, as I called it yesterday when on the phone to a mate, elderflower: I could not remember the name!) Today I also bought some red Tigger balm, which I shall warm (to soften it) then smear all over the sore muscles but avoiding the grazed bits. I've skinned my right elbow and knee, daft tart that I am. I hope it smells nicer than Deep Hate - I LOATHE the stench that produces (our house will be reeking of it come Christmas day thanks to the mothers).

Hello tilly - how are you today and how did today go? I hope it was a good 'un - I bet we could creak gently in unison!

Oh Clare, thank your lucky stars you have no idea what the full horror of a naked me entails: skin with the appearance of lumpy porridge now generously studded with raisins in various stages of decay.

Oh no DD - thats terrible. Hope you start to feel a little better soon.

Love the idea of the naturist plan - probably better to wait till the weathers a little milder though.

Sorry I'm so late in responding, have only just had chance to come on line and seen the news.Really hope you are soon mended and not too shook up.You have a great sense of humour, resilience and Mr DD to see you through.I won't suggest 'taking more water with it',who wants watered down beer.Take care

Good morning everyone, and once again please accept my thanks to all of you for your support. Del? That made Oi larf!

I ended up in a fearful temper last night - I don't usually do angry so when I am I don't have a clue how to handle it, and as it's a little too early as yet to say how I am today I reckon I won't be about much - just to be on the safe side! I have to go to the hospital soon to collect the next instalment of jabs and a new sharps box - ye gods, living doesn't get tougher than this! (as Greg Wallace might have said.) The witch hazel is helping matters a little, the aches and pains are still pretty intense though, so I tramadolled last night (and co-coed at 3am) so driving should be better than yeserday. Wish me luck.

DD (who is still a tad grouchy  )

    Oh DD,
    So sorry to read this.
Not the time of year to be stripping off..me thinks.
I hope things improve as the day goes on and you are soon back to your ""bossy"" ways.
At least your sense of humour is intact.
Please take care and rest as much as possible today.
I don't know why I said that as I know you'll do what you want anyway.
