Hey DD, I'm so pleased you can still have a giggle at yourself! Your excellent for doing that! And I've never thought of my puppies as human air bags I love that gonna us that name instead from now on!
I know what you mean about trouser lengths being long! Myself being a short **** always has to deal with draging trouser legs! And they are a health hazzard! So when I where boot slippers I try and tuck them in the boots! I know it isn't a good fashion look but saves from tripping over them on the stairs!
I love masterchef just for the facial expressions and what lines they come out with! So I love your line 'living doesn't get tougher than this!' Glad the nutty DD is fighting through her pain, Keep your pecker up DD I love you more for keeping your sense of humour after a nasty fall!0 -
Morning to you , my multi coloured friend , hope the bruises are coming along well today ; ( apparently the more impressive the bruises , the less painful they are ! ) ; try not to overdo things today . Can I send love and hugs to Mr DD too and assure him that the temper tantrums mean nothing , the stress just has to be released somewhere ?! Rest up for rest of the day once your chores and errands are done . Jillyb0

Dear DD x:-D
So sorry to hear that you did a purler. Hope you feel and look better soon, my lovely. You weren't drunk and disorderly by any chance where you? x;)

Unfortunately elna, I was sober and disorderly - yup, I know, unusual for me! I would like to clarify that Mr DD was not bearing the brunt of my temper, why should he? It was nothing to do with him that I was so out of sorts so I left him 'watching' telly (you know the sort of 'watching' that men of a certain age do, i.e. through their eyelids) and stomped off to bed. He followed shortly - bearing a mug of tea for me - which although unasked for was very welcome indeed.
I am so very tired today, I had another rubbish night despite the dullers and ended up this morning with three people round for coffee instead of just one. I did some more present wrapping this afternoon and have dispatched some to the tender care of the Post Office. Now work is beckoning. Yip-flipping-ee. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Aw DD I do feel for you. Thinking about it if you had been imbibing you would more than likely have been more relaxed when you fell and there may not have been so much damage. Having fallen just this very afternoon and unfortunately given my shoulder and even more unfortunately my neck a bit of a knock, you have my heartfelt sympathies.
Love

Sorry to read all about your fall, DD. I hope that you are healing quickly and feeling better now. Falling is one of my worst fears, so I can imagine how shaken you must have been.

I hope this isn't catching x:shock:0 -
Hi DD,
Well that was some fall, no wonder you are feeling so battered and bruised. I hope the weekend is a bit kinder to you. Fingers crossed that you have a more comfortable night’s sleep tonight.

I have to say dachshund that yes, they are. They are not as spectacular as the ones I aquired in the summer but they are greater in number and more widely distributed - let's face it, if a job is worth doing it's worth doing well, yes?
Elna, I was so sorry to read that you too took a tumble, that's you, me, angelgirl07 - what do we all have in common? Are the others also falling but not owning up? :?: Now that's a thought! I hope that both you and she are recovering well, I really do. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Oh DD
only just seen this
hope you are well on the way to recovery now.

hi DD i hope the sorness as subsided now as well as the shades of blue and yellow xI know i am a lady ,all life is a journey xx MAY xx0

It is all easing but very slowly, I know that the meth and sulph inhibit healing so I guess it all takes longer than it should - boo-hiss! I am keeping up with the witch hazel as that does help to ease the swelling around the bruises plus it smells nice too. I am now going to fit the grippers to my old silver crutches (I won't have them scratching my lovely blue ones) as the weather here today has been foul. More is promised and we are off to the wilds of rural Suffolk tomorrow night for a Christmas party with Mr DD's boss  so I may well need the extra security they bring. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Glad to read things are improving (albeit slowly).
Have fun at the party tomorrow - are you going to put some tinsel on your crutches?0 -
Not only tinsel, but also battery-operated fairy lights. If you can't change it, celebrate it! Well, that's the theory. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
