Thankyou all of you, the support and love you all show me means so much.
Tough day today, very bruised around the ribs and breathing still hurts, feel utterly drained. Ive a good friend coming round today to keep an eye on me as hubby has a meeting to go to, I can't lift the kettle or hold a cup as my fingers are still clenched so really do need practical help. It's bizarre, 2 years ago I was an Outstanding grade Childminder for Ofsted, now I can't even look after myself.
My GP rang today to ask me to come in and see him Monday, so if not feeling any brighter by then I'll mention it to him.
Thanks again for all your support, help, advice and love, i can't tell you how much it all means to me.'grá agus solas'

Hi all,
Well, I am sat here in floods of tears...good happy tears I'm pleased to report. Those of you who know me, remember I was a Reg Childminder for 15 years, well this evening (unexpectedly) i had a visit from 2 girls aged 10 & 12 that I used to Childmind, they came to give me some hand made cards and a tin of fairy cakes they had baked at school, apparently this morning they had an assembly where you had to talk about someone you loved that was hurt or poorly...they chose me. I used to do a daily worksheet for each child emailing parents with the details of their child's day including any photos I'd taken of their painting/cooking etc, they had used this info and photos of me to tell their school about me and what I used to do for them and how sad they are that they can't come to my house anymore and have me look after them... Can't type anymore, but I'm really very humbled.'grá agus solas'

How lovely of them, what a good and kind thing to do and isn't it wonderful that they remember you with such warmth? I hope that those happy memories of the valuable contribution you have made to so many lives will offer some comfort or solace: it does for me when I hear about the progress of my past pupils.
I hope you are resting now, will continue to rest and will keep resting until you are as better as you can be. I hope you can give your body the gift of ease and quiet so it can start to sort itself out. Take care, you are in my thoughts. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. That’s really lovely, Poppy, and well-deserved I’m sure. We all remember the people who were exceptionally kind to us as children. It’s so nice that they took the opportunity to repay you.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hi Poppy, It goes to show how much of an inspiration you are to those children you have childminded and the positive effect you have had on their lives.
Although this blasted disease has taken so much from you ,it will never be able to take that away and the memories you share.
You are not only an inspiration to thsoe children but are to some of us on here.
Take care dearest Poppy (((((x)))))

Hi DD,
Thankyou for your support my friend, yes very bad night I've had no sleep at all.
Will speak to GP today, troublesome ribs/breathing as usual and an accident yesterday where I hurt my shoulder, not badly just bruised and cannot lower my arm completely.
Thankyou for your kind words, really appreciated at the moment. X'grá agus solas'
