Hi Cris
Good Luck with it
It wont mean you bending forward as long as you have it at the right height.....easily adjustable.
I will never get rid of this curve because of the scoliosis but I certainly walk straighter with it than without it......it reminds me to straighten up instead of slouching
Sending the cup back again refilled

Hi Hileena,
promise i will dig it out her shed and see if it helps. Glad you said it can be adjusted cus hers is quite low... maybe thats why she couldn't use it thinking about it.....
I will see if it helps cus it would be a safety net for this having to sit and get the weight off the back though it wont have any back support will it? Still sitting does take the weight off the back to some degree eh?
Mines not straight flower but the decompression bit is still He did some good job there! I keep thinking first I wish he wasn't retired but 2nd how has it survived against all the extra bone and slipping sideways
Just about to do the pms now but leaving you tea here cus you can never have enough and will let you know what its like once I have heaved it out her shed.... ((((( ))))) xx0 -
Hi Cris
Just a quick note
Did you get my email yesterday {not pm } If you look at it you will see that ut has a back on it....well a padded curved bar
Even if hers hasnt you'll get an idea of how helpful it would be/or not !!!!!
and then buy your own......you said you wanted to buy your own.......I agree....dont like borrowing things for any length of time incase something happens to them.
Hear you later......just about to get that cuppa its about 7.30am
Love

Good morning hun.
Hope that the oxys continue to help and you don't get used to then too quickly..
the 4x4 sounds a great idea.. I truly hope it does the job for you. Just no off roading through those fields, lol
Leaving a red hot cup of tetleys for you along with hugs, purrs and furry paws from me and Ra.

Hi Cris
I have just bought myself one too. It is a 4 wheel one. I find it so much better than the crutches as they hurt my hands. I 'walk' quite upright with it.
Did you manage to have a go at testing the red one?

Hi Cris my lovely,
Always thinking of you, your candle is being kept lit, and i'm sending as much light as i can your way. Im sorry ive not been around much, ive caught a bug off my lads and feel utterly miserable also to add insult to injury, i managed to struggle out of bed yesterday evening and put a load of washing on, theres me thinking im a hero because ive tried to keep up with the housework while feeling cr*p and what did i do? forgot to check the pockets and washed my Sam's phone !! what an eejit  today ive promised the boys i'll stay in bed and leave the housework to them when they come home.
Have a good day Cris and a better night, love and light my friend Xxx'grá agus solas'

Morning skezier, I hope you are as well as you can be. I bought a four-wheeled rollator before Christmas, it has a wire basket under the seat (that is easily removed so it folds up nice and small) and the handles are set to the highest they can be which means no bending forward. The seat has a curved, padded bar at the back so it does offer some support, the brakes can either be worked like bike brakes when trundling, or pushed down to lock the wheels so the seat doesn't roll about. It's a terrific boon for me as it means I can trundle to the local shops and get a few things without lugging them home in a rucksack. Mine cost £65 from our local Co-op disability store, the heavier-built ones cost about £95 but I thought that was too much money to splash if I wasn't sure about the benefits: they were also heavier to lift for shunting in and out of a car, mine is OK on that front. Try your friend's, you have nothing to lose and maybe summat to gain.
It's a miserable day here, grey, very misty and dank. It is not, however, cold - which I guess is a good thing. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
morning my love...its sooo good to see that you managed some well earned sleep at long last....it will do you so much good..has for the wheels I am seriously thinking of getting one...but like you I want a GT model....

Hey I got 5 hours uninterrupted sleep last night Could have gone back off but cus I had laid in the same space for too long the cut in half was in full swing.....
I would so like to know what causes it you know..... what do you reacon the odds are on him finding out?!
Tis almost a safe bet as he wont actually... but am always open to surprises
Wrong thing and spell check again, Its easier to get the email to work on this one..... there are so many adds now the dongle can hardly cope and on the other thing its even worse......
Hileena got it and yep that's exacter what I would like.... if the one in her shed helps!
Just off to find out but that picture,.... if it helps that is the kind I should like ((((( ))))) and the refill xx
Tony It would have to be a quad for here.... mind how I would get it over the electric fence I don't know......Ask Ra to invent something, possibly with springs
Quads are big money and probably more than I paid for the car  Maybe one day though....
Hope your resting that knee and its helping. Oh Tony what ever the weather it will still be a special place for you both. Will sneak in your pocket though cus well there is always a tinge of sadness.
Right get that boy on the blue prints for a contraption, a triple laminectomy and something to get a quad over an electric fence Glad Janets ok and hugs to you both and a big cuddle for the Dope xx
Janie Just off to test the red one but I also find crutches really hurt cus of the hands and wrists and neck so really interested in that bit about it not hurting.
I think she got hers from ot or physio and it is quite basic.... I only saw it a couple of times but it did have a seat but I seem to rememberer it was netting....
Will go and look and get back to you. A cuppa and a ((((( ))))) and so many hopes xx
Poppy I am sorry you got a bug, and will light a blue candle.. Blue is healing and brings peace. I really hope things have got easier for you but you mustn't go washing too many phones... um was Sam ok with it or are you in the dog house? Hope your not... just they are life support machines to some youngsters Hey I no better though if I lose the phone  xx
DD the pic Hileena has sent me was the cheaper one I think and would be the kind I would get..... For me its cus I have to stop and sit with the lumber and well I am tired of looking like a drunken gorilla... will be a drunken gorilla in charge of a roller thing instead
Tis wet for a change here as well..... It really has been a wet 12 months... let them bleat drought eh?! ((((( ))))) and will dig that one out the shed and see if it helps with the wobbliness.... xx
Barbara oh bless you I do need extra strong sleep potions just now mind 5 hours is a lot better than I have had the last 4 months or so..... Feel a lot happier cus well arranged to get a week off from here and going up country and so looking forward to it Something to help get through all this crud eh?
You know its the first time out (bar hospital inpatients) I have had for over 30 years..... might be well over due eh
Leaving you ((((( )))))) and a hope things are ok for you just now? xxx0 -
Sorry Toni you snuck in there and having nearly lost the post once I was terrified it would dispersant and can't do it again.
Yep 5 hours my friend and could sleep now actually... the oxy's are dong their job and I am not too stones either
((((( ))))) and tea by the bucket load. xxx0 -
Hi Cris
Good to read you have some decent hours sleep
I hope you have even longer tonight.
The walker/rollator is a great idea. I have a 3 wheeler one in the shed. (i dont use it now) and I have never walked so tall
I am sure you will find it very useful, especially if you get the 4 wheeled one with a seat.
(just remember the brakes when you sit down )
Love & a biscuit to go with all that tea

Ra is hard at work, inventing the contraption for you and a trebouche type thing for throwing you and the quad over the fence, he just needs to work on another device to land you safely on the other side
He made all the ramps for evil kneival you know.. True story
Hoping you are ok, and very pleased about the good sleep you had. Here's to many more hopefully hun.
Gallon of tetleys on it's way along with some hot crumpets with butter.. LolMe-Tony

You enjoy xxLove

Hi Julie,
Tis worth a try and I would have today had I not got the car stuck in about 9" of mud.... its being pulled out tomorrow ....
The front field is chronic... and still it rains....
Will have to leave it out on the road at this rate
Its the seat i need to be honest... that and the wobbling and lurching might be helped as well The back wont take standing or walking for much so the seat might be very handy and without the breaks.... turn it into a dilly
Hey be the most expensive one i have had
Hope your ok and leaving a ((((( ))))) Cris xx
Hi Tony,
so we shall expect great things from the Ra inventing and making workshops then?! Ramps are no good ... it does have to be something with springs I've seen Shaun and ramps sheep can use... quads as well 'apparently'
Hope you got a decent night and them knees are a bit better? xx
Hi Barbara,
I so am looking forward to the break and it all arranged now and set.. p[art from snow if it comes up country.......
You know I wish you could I would worry bit them less if your in the hammock in the shed
Hope your doing ok and just about to drink the extra strong draft cus just took the oxys. Night night my friend xx
Forgive me if I leave the Pm's till tomorrow please. Leaving hugs and hopes and will go drag that roller thing out as soon as the cars been dragged out. xxx0 -

Hello mi lovely. I hope that things are ok for you...
I've no idea what Ra has been up to while we've been away.. Last time we were away I had top bail him out of the nick the minute we got home. He'd had a few vodkas and broke into the museum in Leeds. Apparently vincent van gogh owed him a few bob when he died for pinching the helicopter idea.Ra thought it was time he collected and tried to pinch a few paintings..
Sending hugs and purrs your way Cris...
Will be in touch once back from paddy land tomorrow.

Hi Elna, Julie, Tracy, Poppy, Sticky, Tony, Ra, and Barbara,
Sorry I just hoofed out for a min... needed some timeout and really am just so trashed that i am useless and no help to any one.
The eyes are shift just now as well as the neck that seems to have welded itself together... i am finding turning the head some hard and well I sometimes just see my life going down the pan and don;t see the bits that aren't as well as noticing we are all muddling ( I had a cat called muddle... he gave m,e these scares with his teeth.. oh and these ) along in some kind of fashion....
Tisn't brilliant, tisn't posh but we are all mucking in... the employers literally
I do have to dag the sheep though..... Anyone up for helping?!
Oh before I forget.... I will have help to shear in may with luck Might throw in some fencing and also actually some foal sitting....
I wonder i they will still come
There was a mix up with the scriot and the gp..... i will NOT use a certain chemist.. their animal testing is to the extremely..... Well now a days they try to say its not but there is still so much evidence... so any way i will not use them....
All the chemists bar one in St A belong to them... The one the gp's have an agreement with over the road from them is also ..... so my script went over the road and I will not Duse them....
I asked for another script... had to leave off the oxy's though cus they have to either be given to you by the gp or go direct to a chemist.... I really had to graphically say why i wont use them.., ended up in tears cus they wouldn't just except I wont use them.....
Couldn't have the mtx last week cus of it and at least they agreed to do another script for that but not the oxys.....
Rambling away but at least it proved I will hold to my ethics and go without the decent pain control as well Don't make a jot of difference though to the them does it
I know it sounds stupid but they really are .... well..... I just can;t use them.
See the gp on the 13th to try and get some blood out and will gravel for the oxys cus i so need them
Ra my lot said they will be on your jury... Haz even has the red robes and a certificate to say he is a Judge.... stands for Jump Up (and) Down (and) Get Excited ....
they said you will be found innocent no matter what you 'allegedly' have done (think there might have been some real jury nobbling actually but ....)
Just n passing Ra.... where is my contraption?!
Elna Yep so looking forward to gong up country..... mind going some way up,as well Toni is gong to put up with me both on the way up and on the way back, bless her..... her kids might have to lamb sit as well
Not gong till March but hell m I looking forward to it. xx
Right the eyes are caving the neck i spasming and I promise I will get the rest of the pm's done tomorrow..... I also thank you for the emails and text.. You are such kind and caring people i really do thank you cus it does help cus i do kinda feel like the world is caving in for me just now.....I kinda ok just a bit swamped and honestly sick of pain so sick of pain.... yeah I know I could have just swallowed the ethics and picked the tablets up but I just can't use them at all......
oh the good thing is the mtx is dong something I have come up like a balloon and the eyes... now the eyes it does help....
You all take care and sorry for just hoofing off but promise to try harder....
Leaving buckets o hugs, hopes and good day drafts please help your self to as much as you need and endless cuppas.. the universal fixer Love Cris xxx0 -
morning my love
Gosh I admire your principles...you hear of people talking about them..but not you....you see them through..so no you are not one bit stupid
I will be there in spring....have mi own tool kit....and cushion for foal watching
Sending loads of slurps and more healing draught xxxLove
Barbara0 -
(((Cris))) big hugs and a warming hot water bottle. Flask of hot choclate and a few biccies for you. Home made soup on its way for later as well.
