Good morning Cris, how are you doing in this weather? Do you have snow in your part of the country? Must be difficult with the animals in this bitter cold as well as for us. Much as I love looking at the snow (for half a day ) I find it scary going out and about it in. Though I bought some fantastic snow boots which grip really well.
I hope you are getting on ok. love Sal xxx0 -
Hi Cris
I hope you can see this with your eyes, I tried to increase the font but failed miserably!
Anyway I'll keep it short for you. Sending you lots of hugs Cris.
I do hope you get a lamb, it'll be good! Roll on March!

Hi Cris[*]
Hoping you are ok, and have been able to keep warm, it has been freezing. How did the animals fare in the snow??
Take care0 -
Dear Everyone
(Toni here)
Cris' eyes are still rubbish as she puts it so she asked me to PA for her and thank you all everyone for taking time to post to her.
She has managed to do a fair few of her PMs, but apologies to those she hasn't yet been able to do.
2 Pieces of good news:
1. Cris has some steroid eye drops which might just help a bit
and 2. She has dug out her 'freinds' rollator and it does help so that is great
Now all she has to do is get the courage...to use it .
Again thanks to everyone
Love and hugs

Oh no, our poor lovely, I have not as yet had eye probelms but I know it makes life stupidly hard, especially with everything else that goes on too. Thank you for the update, frog, what a good PA you are.
Skezier? I hope the drops help and that you are soon seeing the difference (as well as feeling it). As for the rollator, well that is good, I am so pleased to hear that it helps. I would not be without the Clatterator (although it is currently garaged in my office as the pavements are ice-rinks at the moment). I went out today for the first time since Friday and it was a little un-nerving to say the least! Hugs and love to you, and the Ark. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Hi Toni/Cris
Good news about the rollator! It is much better, although I am the same as Cris, need some courage to use the thing. I can feel (imagination here), people looking at me oddly and whispering about me I'm sure of it!
Hope the steroid eye drops do really help the eyes, can you use for long?
Sending lots of hugs (((()))), and a couple for Toni too (())

Hi Toni/Cris
Cris you told me about the rollator this morning....the impression I got was you were using it around your place but hadnt gone out out yet if you know what I mean
Dont forget when you go away for that break throw it in the back of the car and take it with you.
I use mine in other places but havent got round to using it in our village
I'm glad it really helps you.......by the way DD's is a clatterbucket.....mine is a chariot so you'll have to find a name for it!!!!
Love

Hi Cris, I am pleased you have some eye drops. They should work pretty quickly. Did they say how long for them to kick in?
As to the rollator, go for it. When I was given my wheeler, it took so muchcourage to go out and about with it. People were really good, friends and family were brilliant and supportive. Strangers didnt stare, but didnt move out of my way either!!! It does give you confidence, I had lost on just crutches. Just be careful not to over do it!!!!
Have to send you a bell for it, via Izzy0 -
Hi Cris,
I am so sorry that things are still so frustrating for you but fingers crossed the eye drops will work for you very soon. Well done with trying the roller out.
I hope the weather turns for the better for you soon as I know you will be struggling with the mud ruts. Hey I new Lamb maybe…
Fingers crossed the OT has been sorted,
Hugs as always, and Sunday lunch is planned for Sid and Manky

Hi FOlks tis Wonky on PA duties today
As Toni said the other day, Cris just isn't seeing too well just lately, (although they are a tad better today) and with that and the cut in half stuff and one thing and another she is just not able to get on the computer and type replies as often as she would like to.
Cris did set off to try to answer some of the growing PM backlog last night, but frankly the armchair keeps calling her, and by now I think most of you know that armchairing duties of any length cause more problems for Cris than she can afford. Eventually Cris did the sensible thing and retired to bed where she was best placed to rest. I promised to let you know that she's ok.
I know Cris worries that her forum friends worry about her, and I know she also worries that she isn't always able to reply to every PM/message she receives. However, she does reallly appreciate every bit of the support she gets on the forum and I know you'll understand if she reserves her dwindling energy supplies for a while.
Hugs from Cris, as well as egg and chips for those who want them

Thank you Wonky. Dear Cris, my thoughts are with you, you are too caring for your own good, you must not worry about us, look after yourself, you are important and special to us all and we understand fully when you do not respond. We know you would if you could.
