Woo-hoo! Good luck old boy (as we say in this household). Remember to take it out of the fridge to warm through a little as that does reduce the sting to quite an extent (that, and not getting too close to a nerve!) Are they teaching you what to do or is it going to be very similar to the enbrel you had? DD

So I got the Humira out of the fridge and left it for 15 minutes and then found I didn't have the grip to pull the ends off

I shall have to ensure I do it on a day while the wife is at home until it takes effect.

Still haven't heard from the nurse.

**** it that all you need why do they make it so difficult ?????

Hi, hope this works well for you
I am starting on Humira too, just waiting for delivery, have no idea when, no one bothered to tell me how long it takes. So far its been 4 weeks. Did they phone you to tell you when it was coming?
My lot are obviously not as on the ball as yours lol!! :)

Good grief man, give it a chance! :) You may find an improvement after the second explosion of it into your body, so hang on in there, be patient and let's hope for the best, yes? DD

I don't blame you for trying to do without your other meds Del, I'd be the same.

You must have been all the more tempted because enbrel worked so quickly for you as it did for me. Hope you don't have to wait too long for some positive signs.

Sorry, del. No advice as I've no experience of these things but I hope it kicks in soon.
