Never mind Del, it will look very nice when it's all done. How are you coping with all the damage done by the flood :?: I hope you're getting it all sorted out now.

well done Del. I hate these lazy #@$7@84$ that think they can park wherever they wish. Inconsiderate pirrox :x
I've just been to pinderfields hospital for a blood test. Outside the mason entrance they have a small parking area with nine disabled bays and the same number of spaces for doctors. There are probably more disabled bays somewhere but at the minute I can hardly walk at all so needed one very close. Why the hell are the doctors ones so close? I admit that they're the on call doctors but surly they could park another thirty feet away in the other part and they could have eighteen disabled bays. I sat waiting twenty minutes for one. Some old fart thought he could pinch the space.. I made it very clear that I'd waited longer and he would have top wait.
He probably assumed that because I'm younger that there's nowt wrong with me. :x
He was still waiting when I came out so like you, I took my time adjusting my sunglasses etc lol.

I am sorry it was a day of mixed emotions for you yesterday, Elizabeth. I shall have one of those days on the 17th March.

    Hugs to you,

I spent quite a bit of today talking ( and listening ) I take part in a discussion group with teenagers at a local comprehensive school, which is always very lively and interesting. The young people are very impressive and articulate, so it gives you faith in the future. I was sad to hear that some of them are having second thoughts about applying to uni though because of the fees.

Aw, dear Elizabeth, your week is proving a little difficult so far and I am sorry. I do hope that L felt a little better later in the day and that you do not feel to whacked out.

    Thinking of you both,

    Love

I went with my son, daughter in law and my three year old grandaughter to see my mum. The little one entertained her great grandmother dancing and chatting. She also helped to lay the table for 6 of us as a family friend turned up and cut up the bananas to add to the fruit salad. We washed and wiped up the dishes and cleared up. A happy, few hours spent together.
