I am so bloody nervous its stupid.
Well maybe it isnt, im just so fed up of being pushed from pillar to post.

I found out someone i know who has started getting similar symptoms to me and much less problems with her skin and the severity of pain was diagnosed with PsA, she went private and they diagnosed her within 10mins....
Why does the health system have to be so 2 tierd. its so unfair. Lets just hope this is a good day for me eh.

Sorry to keep going on , it just means more than ive ever let on to anyone. I want my life back.

Hi all , firstly a huge THANKYOU for all your support, you guys have realy helped me through these past few/many months.

I know you would like to hear how it went today so without delay here goes.

    Once upon a time.....

My app was an hour late and I thought oh no this doesnt bode well, but on this occassion i was wrong!!

I was pulled about and nerves and reflexes tested, he prodded n poked and i had pain i didnt know i had pain.
He asked me my history and said....
' Although i can only go on recent tests and the last 6mths of history i have I can tell you that at this time you do not have active PA.' he went into lots about whether i had it to begin with, how that the tests dont show it and he is aware that the tests are not always correct , that he thinks at present the PA is lying dormant or controlled.
He believes that the pain is real (it was nice to be told that instead of made to feel it was in my head) and is Fibromyalgia caused by the previous condition. He said although Fibro is a mixture of diagnosis and it covers a vaast array of symptoms that I fit most of the boxes nicely.

He has set up the first fibro clinic in the country and is booking me in to attend that.
He is getting my GP to introduce pregab daily and ami nightly, reduce the patches overtime but keep the naproxem as i helps when the joints swell. I will be having regular phisio, cbt and other stuff and he is gonna arrange things to happen closer to home.

He says i have OA in both knees and may need the patch to keep that pain at bay.

I am happy that i have finally been listened too and that my voice has been heard.

I am happy to give all these things ago as its better than what i had and we will see. I will
remain positive and do as told n see how it goes. It cant hurt to try.

    Thanks all.

    Huge (((((x)))))

Now need hottie, n cuppa n lie down.
    Nearly home : )
