Clare, maybe start the pregab when you are not working? The gabapentin increase knocked me for 6. Pregab is supposed to be stronger I think, so take it easy.

I take the ami as and when, all the time makes me woozy. Hope you get in with it ok.

    Hi Clare,

Glad it went well and you actually got some help! Th pregabs ... I like them and they have been very good friends to me..... I am on 300 twice a day and they well suit me.

I started on 75 and had no problems and they were fine at 200 but I got 300 wasn't that quick. Now they are fine again, except now and then when they react with the drip and it can get 'interesting'.

I have the 300 in one tablet now and thats a bit big but .....

Clare they are so good to me I will forgive them anything and I hope they will work well for you.

Hang i there and like Suzy I would be interested to know what the guy says re the fibro clinic. ((((( ))))) and a hope Cris xx

Hi Claire, Sorry I wasn't around to be in your pocket when you went for your appt. It's great news that you have a proper diagnosis and your voice has been heard! I'm so pleased the Dr has set out a plan for you and has been through it with you so you understand what's going to go on. You must have felt a big weight lift off your shoulders when you left the appt!! So happy for you, you deserve to have had your questions answered and a proper diagnosis.

    Hi Clare

So pleased that your appointment went well and you have now got some answers. Lets hope that the new tablets you have been given help you. Is the fibro clinic at the same place or has he got you in one nearer home? I am so pleased that he is helping you and things look more positive.

    Hi Clare

So glad you had such a positive experience at the hospital. It sounds like your Consultant really listened to you.

I know how you feel regarding the oa in your knees.

Did you get your cup of tea and hot water bottle?

    Take Care

    Hi You lovely people.

Well for those who asked I do have to go back to Guys for the clinic, but i dont mind as i would go anywhere for help.
The consultant said he is going to try and arrange the follow on treatment (phisio, cbt, hydro) from somewhere closer to home. This will all be discussed and arranged when i see his team at the clinic and we decide what i need and kight be usefull.

I will let you know Suzy n Cris the details when they come and what it will entail.

Well slept like a log with my new 20mg dose of Ami, work tommorrow so i had better take it soon, have to get up at ^.

Oh yes Pink, i did get my hottie and several cups of tea. xx

    Catch you all soon.xx

CJ I'm sorry to have missed pocket duty as I was at a hospital appt myself and have'nt been on here.
I'm delighted to hear everything went so well for you and the appointment was a success.
Great news that the PA is in remission at the moment, hope it stays that way for you but I know that Fibro is a real b..... I have PA OA and Fibro and since starting the Pregabalin things have definately eased a good bit. I also take the Amy at night which helps a little bit to give me a deeper sleep although it does'nt really make me sleep longer.
I had to stop the Pregabalin in the mornings as it was making me so tired all day I was really struggling at work but I hope it works for you and does'nt have the same side effects. Taking it at nighgt is the best I can do.
I hope all continues to go well for you. Hope you let us know how the CBT goes if you get it.
    Big hugs. Rita.
