Thanks girls.... I really appreciate the messages..
Janet has gone to work today, she said the hip was a little sore but ok. She's at her heart failure clinic at the minute, she arranged to see them a bit early as she's been having a few strange flutters etc. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about but I'll let you know what the specialist says.

I've been walloped with a real hefty dose of exhaustion, joints are burning a bit too  fun fun fun...

Thanks again for all the lovely replies and support :D

    Hi Toni.
I'll let you know what they say.. They seem to think she should be a lot better than what she is, I was a bit fed up with the fella she saw last time, he told her to go home and get fit
She's seeing the head fella today though..
As for resting up, lol, I took J to work this morning, got back around seven, came back to bed and I was out for the count, woke around one :o absolutely drained..

    Thanks DD.
Well, her appointment was kind of a waste of time. They more or less said that they can't really do more for her. They know she's doing everything she can to help herself but don't know why she's as restricted as she is. The palpitations are within normal limits and shouldn't be anything to worry about.
She can go back anytime she feels she needs to but they've basically discharged her.
They obviously aren't Gods lol.. According to their results she should be good now and as normal as someone who's had heart failure could be, but she's not. Extreme exhaustion constantly, and if she does try to push things she's immediately ill..
Oh well, I suppose I can kind of understand, from their point of view there isn't any more that they can do. She's just got to hope the tablets keep working, and we both must accept that this is as good as she'll get.
At least things are better than they would have been a few yrs back. Life expectancy was between five and ten yrs
I'm just happy she's still here but I constantly worry..
    Anyway, enough rambling.
Thank you once more to everyone who added..

Thanks Rose, Patricia... I can't believe the amount of support we've both had on this thread.. It really does mean a lot.
I hope I haven't come across as feeling sorry for us, it's not like that but I am getting frustrated for us both though. I wish that the pain clinic would hurry up and try this treatment for mi knees and spine. I've told them to add me to the cancellation list..

Yorkshire Bloke hugs for all if you want em or not lol..

hi tony it so frustrating i know when you do not get the help that you feel should be there a magic wand or three wishes would be great i know sorry news was not better for janet always a worry but stress will not be helping either of you so big ((())) for you both try to make the most of each day plan something nice even if it an inexpensive walk in park (short with lots of sitdowns).
could she get a second opinion ??? never been in this situation so do not know val

    Thanks Val...
To be honest, I don't know if a second opinion would do much.. In a way they are right, as surgeons/cardiologists there isn't really anywhere to go.. It's the difference in what they say she should be capable of doing and what she can actually do.. They said they don't know, basically it is what it is..
I can't wait for the day that they sort my knees out as they're the worst problem for me walking right now..
We both love walking, especially somewhere flat lol. Think that's why Skeggy is ideal for us..

We are going to Spain soon, on the coach with a stop off in Paris overnight each way... I am really hoping that my treatment will come through before then.. I am always that bit better in the heat but the knees are pretty knackered now so I don't know how much I will be capable of..
We will see. Have told the pain clinic to put me on the cancellation list
    Fingers painfully crossed lol

    thanks hun.
I'm exhausted again now  but again I'm sat outside a supermarket. This time it's for our Daughter Toni.. Dad's taxi in action..
I can't madge it round the store. All the joints on my left side are playing silly buggers right now. My left hand really seized up early, quote painful, fingers are puffing up too.
Oh what a jolly life we lead haha..

I'm sorry you're also having a rough time. I wish summer would hurry up, even for that tiny bit if relief we someones get.
Look after yourself hun, how's your blog going?

We're off to the costa brava. It's up north but because we have to go by coach it's easy to get to than the south of course lol
