Hi folks.
Some of you know I've not been so good, one flare after another. Was write bad last week, but I managed to make it to my Uncle's funeral friday.. Stayed out most of the day, as I was determined to spend time with the family..
Friday night arthur decided to show me that he's in control of my joints and bones.. I've had such a crap weekend, hence the lack of online posting etc.. I'm slightly better right now, but not a great deal.

Hope everyone is alright today..
:D

We all know that arthritis thrives on stress and upset and you've had a fair bit of that lately. You did the right thing on Friday and now the bill has come in for payment, as it usually does. Pay it off bit by bit with resting, doing the things that you want to do rather than the things you have to do, resting some more and I hope that things ease soon. ((())) DD

Hey there Tony my funny sweet friend! I'm so sorry Arther is being a nasty horrible bully to you, If this was a school playground and Arther was a child being horrible to you I would have gone over to Arther and beaten him up for being horrible to my mate!! But sadly it's not like that and I can't do that. So I feel crap that you've been suffering so much. When I joined AC you where so good to me being the newbie and we had such a laugh. And now I can't be as funny as you! I just hope Arther buggers off and lets you have a nice long period of pain free time, so you can spend some good time with your lovely sweet wife & Ra! You deserve that! You take it easy 'cool guy' and rest and get strong again.

Do as Dr DD says. You know she's right. Just don't tell her I said so. (())

Poor you Tony, you never seem to get a break from the pain!!! Is there no other options for you? Have you exhausted all avenues of pain relief? How about a body transplant?? ;)

thank you everybody, once again you lot are there when I need ya :D
Thankfully I've managed to sleep a good portion of the day, that's the only time I don't feel the pain
I managed to get up this morning to take Janet to work, then went and picked Toni up from her work after a night shift, but I had to sit waiting for her to come out. There was little point in coming home though.. I don't think the sitting around helped :(
By the time I got back the whole body was playing Hell with me.
I've emailed Janet, she's getting the bus home again.
Very very fed up of this crap right now.

well, I've just rung the Rheumatology department to chase up my appointment. It wasn't going to be until July
I explained how bad things are at the minute..
She's got me in on Monday morning at half nine..
So, if anyone is up for pocket duties that morning I'll pack the flask and some jammy dodgers :D

Thats great news Tony!! Make sure you tell the Rheumy everything in detail, so they get a picture of what you're going through!! Sometimes i don't think they realise!!

Good luck and i will be there in your pocket, enjoying the jammy dodgers :) x

Awww you are really suffering at the moment Tony. You have had a lot to deal with emotionally also and that won't have helped. It is obvious from your posts though that you are a real coper :) Fantastic news about your appointment. Until then take plenty of rest as the others have said - you need that at the moment. BTW I LOVE jammy dodgers...

I'll be in your pocket on monday Tony. I'll have to bring my little dog with me though, but she's well behaved, and she loves cats.
    Hoping all goes well,

thanks folks. I knew I could count on you lot.. :D
I'm gonna tell em that although the sulfa is doing something, it's not enough as I'm constantly flaring.. Plus I've lost a lot of weight on them. I dunno what they'll do, maybe add the meth into the mix?
All I know us that the sulfa works brilliant on my stomach problems and I'd like to keep that, not sure if the meth does similar? It's bad enough coping with the flares but when the stomach is carrying on too it's no fun
Anyway, thank you all, I'll pack plenty of jammy dodgers, and the cake sounds great too :D
All animals welcome, as long as they're fully pocket trained  lol
Right, off to watch game of thrones

Good. That sounds like a plan. Whatever they suggest has to be an improvement so go for it.

Tony my poorly pal!! You know I will be there I will bring some shortcake as that's my fav and herbal tea! Bubba said now he's feeling alittle better he will come along and bring his massive bed so he can rest. Hope they sort out your meds and find a mix that will help your pain and ease it.

    thanks girls...

I've been so fed up today that I thought balls to it, I've not had any meds. Sometimes I get sooooooo fed up of popping pills.. I know, not the best idea I've ever had... I suppose I'll relent very soon.. The morning dose is more important than the dinner time one so I'll take them.
Don't you just get fed up of taking all these things sometimes? Especially when the pain is so bad? Feels like, what's the point? They ain't doing much...
Then I realise that they ARE doing something and without I'd be much worse.

Sorry, got a tad miserable then..
