I am doing PA duties for Kellerman {May} at the minute.
I think some of you know that cancer runs in her family ...there is a heriditary gene. She has had cancer twice before but has come through it.
Now it has reared its ugly head again.
She is having treatment every day {except weekends} She is worried about not being on the forum but she is so tired when she gets back that she just cannot come online.
Just thought i would let you know what was happening....she hasnt left us She is just finishing her first week of treatment today.

Hi to you all,
Firstly many thanks to Hileena for her posting.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR LOVELY KIND THOUGHTS.
I can't have chemo this time as my bones apparently would crumble more than they are already. I am having radiotheapy in the hope that it will sort me out.
I am and always have been a very positive person but I must admit this was a bit of a shock. I'm sure this one little cell is just roaming around in my bloodstream waiting to attach itself to a different bit of me.Its odd that it hasn't been killed off by the 2x6 chemo sessions I've already had.
Anyway its tiring going to the hospital every day except week-ends but I'll survive. I haven't had any side effects only the tiredness and after the first one I couldn't eat.
My AS has come out in sympathy and my meds aren't dulling it at all.Maybe mention this when I go back on Wednesday. I don't want to cause any more arguements as the oncologist wanted me to have chemo and the rheumy said no.Think the onco is frightened of the rheumy.

To know that my cyber friends are here is really great and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.I will try and get here as often as I can and I'm so sorry if I've missed pocket duties for anyone.

Oh Toni my love.....I would be extremely greedy asking for pocket duties every weekday for 20 minutes or so.

Still maybe......if I offered everyone tea/coffee or whatever you drink at 10 every morning and maybe a buttered toasted teacake !!!!!!!!!!! May

Your bravery, and courage has me feeling very humbled.

I don`t actually do praying, but I do speak to my precious late husband a lot, and tell him what I would like doing......nowt much changed there!!

It's not being greedy having pocket dwellers every weekday or even everyday as we are cyber pocket dwellers and we can magically be in anyone's pocket at any time having the ability to duplicate ourselves with a click of an arthritic finger
