Hi
I use one but only cos my dentist told me I had mild gum disease and could rectify this with electric toothbrush...I bought one and over 2 years later it hasnt made a bit of difference at all.....I still use it but also use a manual one too for tongue in the morning and night...

They're only 3 volt DC colin they wont kill you. I seem to remember that you use to get one you could take the battery out, these new one don't, the one we've got cost an arm and a leg seems to me they're designed with redundancy in so every 3 years or so you have to bin the whole thing, same for electric cordless shavers, I've got a Philips and it was around £70 when I got it, when the battery went after a few years there was no battery compartment so I simply took it apart removed the old one from the circuit board found the exact type I needed on line orderd it and put the new one back in, they take a 3/4 AA one that cost me less then £2, better than spending another £70.0

You can still find AA powered battery brushes (or are they AAA?) but why oh why the electric razor? They are nowhere near as good as the manual-plus-foam/gel combo and even tho my hands are not that wonderful I far prefer the hair conditioner/razor thing for the legs - and the bare water-slicked blade for the moustache! I guess it all comes down to personal preference. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
