Splint-astic!

You honestly do get used to them (to some extent at least!). I've been wearing splints on my wrists on and off since I was about 13 (now 26). They're not the easiest of devices but I find that when my hands are very painful they are a real godsend.Twenty-something mother, home educating my wonderful son and currently TTC.
My particular flavour of arthritis is yet to be confirmed0 -
and I was looking forward to a tassle-tastic night
My splints sound very similar, I've some metal inserts and also some moulded plastic ones for the crutches..
Hope the kids didn't mind the off the shelve ones hunMe-Tony

I chickened out
. I think I need to be feeling 'better' about them myself so I can be confident about being around others. My fingers are currently fizzing so I guess it's time to splint up then I shall Clatterate to the Co-op to buy a paper. Hope I don't get blown over - it's very gusty here!
