Hello tilly, I hope all is as well as it can be. Somehow I found myself in town at 8.30 this morning. Ye gods. The sun is shining and the sky is a lovely shade of steel grey - I think a deluge is imminent. I hope you managed to get some sleep last night - are the dreaded builders around? ((((())))) DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Thanks Tony, DD Mig and Rose for your posts.
Tony - thanks for the YBH
DD - in town at 8.30?!!!!!!! Flippin eck
Mig - thanks so much. I really hope you enjoyed your trip - despite the payback!
Rose - thanks for your kind words.
No builders today - hurrah! Thought they might be back today having been rained off yesterday. In a moment of duller induced optomism
I have just suggested to G that maybe we could go out for lunch. Now I'm worried about how the heck I am going to manage. And I'm not even dressed yet. What was I thinking? But having made the suggestion I am determined to go if I possibly can. Oromorph milkshake anyone?

You go girl, it will do you good to get out and about for a little while - and it will do Mr TT good as well. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Thanks both.
Well we DID make it out for lunch and it was luvverlyWe were obvously "meant" to go out today cos they had my very favourite soup - red pepper and sweet potato and it was yummy
. I am so pleased for both of us that we were able to go out - and even it that turns out to be "it" for the week, it is just nice to have been out somewhere.
Thanks again.
Tillyxxx0 -
Reeeesult! I'm very pleased (a)that you got out for lunch and (b)it was a good one. As you say, you have that under your belt(s) even if that's the end of it. But, why let it be the end of it? If Mr TT is up for it, do it again....and again.....and again. (I know it's not that simple but......it'd be nice, wouldn't it?)If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thanks Sticky.
Oh yes, my plan is to do it again at every possible opportunity!
It is our anniversary today (he's put up with me for 24 years  ) and we are going to my Mum and Dad's for lunch so another trip out! I'm getting good at this.

Congrats on your anniversary. I'm so glad you managed to get out, it's a real boost isn't it, even if it's all you manage.

Two days running, Tilly? This could get to be a habit, you know
I do hope so - especially this week. (We are a one TV family but never, ever could we share a computer for more than a day or two.)
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
