Thank you so much Mig and Sticky for continuing to think of me.
Things are a tad rough just now - think it's all caught up with me again and I am cross with myself cos I am struggling to cope. But on the positive side Mr TT and I have really enjoyed our week off together and we have been able to do much more than anticipated which is a real bonus.
Thanks again.

Hi Tilly, Sorry your suffering today, it seems to catch up with you quick when you do a little! At least you got to enjoy the week with Mr Tilly! You take a rest over the weekend and think back over the memories of last week.0
-
Please don't be cross with yourself, Tilly. You know it's the meds and not you. And, really, this week, despite the meds, you have achieved so much. You managed to get out several times for lunch and last week you didn't think that would be possible. And I think that's probably made Mr TT very happy too. (And it's made me happy
) You're doing OK. (())
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

((( Tilly))) sorry to hear you are struggling with the steroids. They are the pits but so useful in other ways.
Keep fighting and we are all on your side0 -
Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words.
Today has been a really nice dayI feel physically better than yesterday and, as a result much brighter mentally. And it has been sunny which certainly helps. We went out for lunch - again
and then just had a quiet rest of the day together at home. G is back at work tomorrow so I am really pleased that our last day of hols has been a good one.
Thanks again.

Hope you had a good weekend Tilly, How are you recovering? Hope it's all positive! It's the start of another week let's see what Arther wants to throw at us this week!! Big ((((HUGS))))0

I've had a text from our lovely, she's back in the deep dark pit of steroid-induced fed-up-ness.
Knowing what's caused it doesn't make it any easier to deal with, does it? Ye gods life is unfairly tough at times.
Tilly, I send love and hugs and I hope things pick up again for you soon. It sounds (on reading back a little) as though you and Mr TT managed a better week than you were expecting so I hope those memories are of some comfort. ((((())))) DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -

I'm so sorry to hear that you're having a bad time. I hope you feel better soon. Try to give yourself the time that you need and be selfish - think of yourself. I think those of us with the old Arthur try to much to push it into the background that we sometimes do ourselves a disservice. Now is your turn to think of you before anyone else for a change.
Take care of yourself.

I'm sorry your good week has come to a griding halt, Tilly. It might be that as much as the steroids that's to blame for your downshift. I know I always find the better, and more sustained the good times, the more likely I am to feel miserable afterwards at the contrast. The balance will return. Just give it a bit of time. (((())))If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thanks again peeps for your continuing support.
I am pleased to report a couple of much more positive days and I am beginning to see signs that the black cloud is starting to disperse.
Yesterday I saw my friend and her gorgeous toddler - haven't seen them for weeks and it was lovely to catch up. Little Charlie had us in fits because he is at the stage where he copies everything and he was trying to use my crutches. He had them out in front of him and managed to get his arms through the arm supports which was fine - until he tried to put them upright and of course they were about twice as tall as he is. Eventually he settled for walking round the garden holding them further down. But it really did make us laugh. Bless him.
Thanks again so much.

Ah Tilly
Small children are such a tonic! I can picture him being you
Bless him and I am very glad to hear the black cloud is lifting....let's hope we get some real life sunshine too
Love and hugs and chirrups and purrs

Alas, I can only offer hugs and love: the chirrups and purrs are beyond my talents.
I am glad to hear that the dark clouds are shifting, that is a very good thing. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Thank you so much both.

Tilly sorry to have neglected you. My laptop decided to have no internet connection so was offline for a few days. I am glad you have had a couple of good days. It is such a nice feeling. Toddlers are a real tonic, they bring you back down to earth.
I wish you many more positive days. I had a present this morning  from IzzyI nearly shrieked like a girlie
It was a poor little mouse  She was very pleased with herself.
Love from Izzy and myself0 -
Tilly
It's good to hear that you are slowly coming out of that horrible cloud.
Thinking of you and sending you big ((((()))))
